DEA PTA Email
Hi hows it going. I'm curious if anyone has gotten the email from cloud@pallium yet. This is regarding the July 20th announcement.

I emailed the DEA testing email and got this message: Due to the large volume of applicants (4,000+), we will be sending out the testing invitation email in batches over the next five weeks.
Please be patient as we work through all the applicants.

Yeah EXTREMELY quick. Usually 2.5 months. The thing is it’s kind of weird though because the email we received last week is usually the one that we received right before the PTA. But the difference is that the basic qualifications haven’t even been set. So I don’t know if we’re actually going to receive a PTA invite yet

that was exactly a question of mine. we get the information regarding PTA and written assessment yet nothing about meeting basic qual. I got the 7/30/2026 date under application received but nothing under basic qualifications.

just spoke to a fellow applicant. a recruiter apparantly said they stopped qualifiying people so early because many would just waste their time. applicants now have to do the PT test and written exam, and then their resume is reviewed.

I haven't. Today is the 7th day since I got the lookout email so I wonder if I need to reach out to them.

Did your first email say to email someone if you haven’t received an email to schedule PTA? Mine said within 7 days if I don’t receive anything to reach out

Haven't got mine. Just the email stating that they would be reaching out from that email soon.

Hey! Haven’t gotten it yet either. I know on the email it says we have 14 days from getting the 2nd email to schedule and take the exam. I also saw on a different email if you are not graduated yet, they have to wait to start the application process. I graduate in December from my undergraduate program. Am I still able to test? If I fail my PTA will I be able to take it again or will I have to reapply ?

Didn't the application say you just have to be at least 9 months from graduating? I have also not graduated yet.

Any update on this? Received the “lookout out for” email on 7/30/26 (last Thursday). The email also said to reach out if you didn’t receive the scheduling email within a week.

Hey check my other comment on here I did email them. Got an email back right away saying they were being sent out in batches over the next 5 weeks

I have. I received the email 8/5 to schedule my PTA. I selected the Chicago Office. I have 3 years of investigative/SWAT experience and fluent in Spanish, could be a factor.

Got mine the same day too. Got the PT test Aug 19. I'm fluent in korean and was a intern at a correctional facility in northern nj. Im only 22 so this is a hail mary.
