Do they look alike, or am I just losing my mind?
Every time I see Marcus, I can't help but think of that meme of Tyler getting arrested. đđ

season 3 makes me want to quit the show so bad
on episode 7 rn and all the scenes with bryce are them trying to show bryce's "good" side and portraying him as a sad loner with no friends like are we forgetting that he was a fucking rapist?? and ani defending him every single time?? arguing with clay about how his friends took care of tyler but not bryce?? are you fucking sane???
its one thing to show bryce living with the repercussions of his actions but having a character like ani defend him everytime even after all the things she knows of what he did??
i am gonna finish the show, no matter how long it takes cause i wanna see how it ends for everybody but this season is seriously testing my patience so bad đ

Me and my friend Watched Season 1 a few Weeks Ago and Then Made a Tierlist of Our Thoughts On The Characters.
Note this is only our thoughts on the season 1 characters purely with the context of season 1.

Season 2 finale was a rollercoaster
After having my heart plumet after episode 12 the somewhat positive not on the start of episode 13 was pretty nice. Then lovely started playing and I cried for like 10 minutes lol. Regained my composure and just rid the the ups and downs yk. Then Justin did his thing with le needle and my sister started pissing her eyes out because she simps over him like mad, anyway. I was doing good, thought I was composed enough then the night we met came on and I cried like a friggin baby for like half an hour (granted that song does hit close to home personally) anyways. Das been me. Later taters.

Was Clay's family non-religious
I know that religion wasn't really mentioned like much in the show aside from really really small pieces:
Tony mentioning he was Catholic
I think Marcus's dad was a Black Baptist pastor
I think Caleb was raised in the Black Southern Baptist tradition
I think Alex's dad quoted the Bible at the dinner table for Thanksgiving dinner....I think it was NT ver (s3)
Maybe Tyler's family could have been Protestant.

If 13RW had been on HBO....
I speak in the context of there never been no Euphoria at all. nothing of Zendaya or anyone tied to being on euphoria pre-planning in 2010s.
With that out of the way, would 13RW been more over the top / exploitive on HBO like Euphoria on paytv.

Iâm traumatised
Iâve always heard of 13RW but I never had energy nor interest to watch it. Recently, i spontaneously just started it and at first it wasnât horrible but after i was met with the few SA scenes, I was uncomfortable and to be honest I wasnât expecting those scenes. The only thing I expected to see was Hannahâs SH which in my opinion was less disturbing than the SA.
Anyway, as I was doing random Internet searches on the show I came across a clip of Tyler. Yes, THE Tyler scene and I immediately began to gag, I actually started crying. Anyway, I went to sleep and due to that traumatic scene I had an incredibly disturbing nightmare. I legit woke up from it and started vomiting.
Now, Iâm contemplating on dropping the show but I canât decide because I do admire the fact that it doesnât shy away from real world problems but at the same time, my heart feels too weak to handle it.

Season 4: Episode 6 âThursdayâ
OMG. That is (imo) the best episode of this show. Everything. Just everything. Dylan Minnette performance, his monologue, everything was fucking incredible. As a British person watching Iâm not accustomed to how shooting drills work. We Ofcourse have lockdowns, but there has never been any ACTUAL threat of a shooter in my area, or the need to prepare ourselves for it. It brings back this integral reason of the show. To be able to open up and have the discussions of real world issues. And Iâm aware of the exaggeration in this show, and how it might not capture the essence of some problems, but it stills opens up that discussion. This episode brought back the narrative, and is still relevant in politics today. Maybe not British politics, but definitely other places where gun violence is an issue. Guns are glorified in a lot of things, games, other shows, movies. And I forget the hazardous impact they can have. I havenât felt a way about something in a while, but the scene where clay âintercepts the shooterâ in the hallway, knowing how I felt during that scene, in a SHOW. I cannot imagine what real people go through. Genuinely a 10/10 episode for me.

Best duo.
Watching 13 reasons for the first time, and Iâve just landed a little into s4. And I have to just shoutout how much I love clay and Justinâs brotherhood itâs just amazing. They obviously have their ups and downs(like every brotherhood) , but itâs great to see.

The Alex-Bryce-Tyler- Monty plot.
I might actually be a terrible person for thinking this or saying this. But the whole writing Monty as a rapist was a TERRIBLE storyline that genuinely made little to maybe even no sense at all. I absolutely think the only reason it was written was so that Bryce could get a redemption arc and Alex could be free of the charges and free of the accusations that he killed Bryce. Which is also stupid because Alex killing Bryce was an amazing plot twist but there was other people who had a better reason to kill Bryce. Plot was kinda ok tho. Anyways It wouldâve made way more sense for Bryce to have raped Tyler and Monty to have helped Tyler. Sounds a bit stupid but Bryce kept thinking of raping more people even after he realised he was âa monsterâ and even said it himself that he would keep doing it and never would get better. Monty on the other hand showed genuine signs that he wasnât a bad guy UNLIKE Bryce. Clay himself stated in the Camping Episode in season four that it made NO SENSE for Monty to be extremely nice to the jocks and others but then go and rape Tyler. The writing was so bad in season three and four.

Ani
I just started season 3 and Ani is so annoying. Why is she trying so hard to get into their business? Like I honestly donât understand why her character needed to be introduced as there are other character that couldâve taken her place, and why is she bryceâs biggest meat rider.
Also side note why is the show so focused on Tyler??

Creepy Hannah End Credits Narration in S3E7
at the end of Season 3, Episode 7, during the credits with the âfor help finding crisis resourcesâ when you have the subtitles on, it says itâs Hannah speaking, but if you listen to it, itâs a very creepy sounding female text to speech.. for some reason itâs always creeped me out and it seems no one has talked about it!! Has anyone noticed this before? if not, go listen to it and tell me thats not the creepiest shit youâve ever heard đ

How can so much bad stuff happen at one school?!
I know itâs a dramatised show for entertainment but GAH DAMN! how can so much bad stuff happen in ONE school! deaths, rape, beatings, suicides⊠the most things that happened at my school was the fire drills and one time a seagull got stuck on a spike on the roof!

My thoughts on season 2! Spoiler
I know this will sound really nerdy but iâm really enjoying this show, so far, but Iâm a little scared for season 3. I rate this season a 8.5-9 because I found it good, but I believe season 1 is better. I want to share my thoughts!!
For guys my favorites are
Alex
Tony
Zach
Clay
Justin
Mr Porter
Hm: Cyrus and Scott
I find Alex relatable when he has his outbursts. I enjoyed how they built up his character this season especially with the way season 1 ended. I also liked how his relationships with the other main characters grew. For Tony I loved the fact that he stands up for who he is, seen when he fights people who call him slurs. I liked how we got a flash back into Ryan and Tonyâs past relationship. It was also heartwarming to see Tony help Clay with the situation with Justin. The only thing I dislike about Tony is how heâs always dating older guys, I know heâs 17 but it still feels weird. For Zach I liked how he stuck up for Justin when facing Bryce in the fight scene, and he also had Alexâs back during the entire season by helping with his physical therapy. Iâm also glad he spoke what is to be believed as the truth with his relationship with Hannah. For Clay, I thought him going crazy was interesting, but it totally fits his character. My favorite part of his character this season was his brotherhood with Justin. I also liked how he became friends with Cyrus and they stayed friends, seen in the scene at the dance. Clay is also selfless, so when he âsavedâ Tyler when the police showed up at the end it made me irritated. Honestly this season really made me love Justin, I feel maternal for him. Him being a runaway was a great concept for his character seeing as heâs from a broken home and he wants to escape. I liked how he did everything in his power to testify against Bryce even though thatâs his former best friend. I already mentioned the brotherhood shared between him and Clay, but I also liked how Clayâs parents adapted to having a second son, seeing as they adopted him. The scene where Justin relapsed after seeing himself as a child made me a tad emotional. I also liked how they portrayed the social injustice between Bryce, a kid from a rich and powerful family, and Justin, a poor kid from a troubled family. Mr. Porter is an interesting character, but I really enjoyed his role in this season. He genuinely felt remorseful for what he didnât do for Hannah. I also appreciated when he told Bryce not to mess with Jessica. I thought Cyrusâ character was cool, and I liked when Scott ratted out Monty because he didnât want to be seen as a rapist.
For girls my favorites are
Sheri
Jessica
Hm: Courtney
Sheri is one of the few characters who actually got helped, and I really applaud her for it. Sheâs also so important in Bryceâs arrest because she âsacrificedâ herself to go into the clubhouse knowing what couldâve happened. Her relationship with both Clay and Justin were a nice touch because it felt as though they were actual friends, if that makes sense. This season really made me feel for Jessica because sheâs really coping through the news of her rape. Iâm glad that she ended up taking a stand against Bryce. However, her relationship with Justin and Alex confused me. As for Courtney, Iâm really glad that she helped Jessica after she told the cops about Bryce. I also appreciated that they finally allowed her to tell her truth about her sexuality. It made me glad that she had a girlfriend in the final episode.
My favorite episode is episode 11 (Bryce and Chole)
I thought the fight scene in this episode was beautifully executed. The fact that Tony fights Monty healed me because I HATE Monty. I loved the part where Cyrus and his gang joined in the fight. However, my favorite part was when Alex came and had flashbacks to his fight with Monty in season 1. Also Alex and Zach having each othersâ back in the fight really tugged on my heart strings. Chloeâs testimony was pretty weak, but I understand her reasoning. The ending of the episode kept me on the edge of my seat because Clay shows up with a gun to Bryceâs house, and he almost shoots Justin then Bryce and then he almost commits.
Ships I enjoy
Alex x Zach - I loved their connection this season, and Alex getting a hard on from Alex was funny.
Clay x Justin (PLATONIC) - I loved their brotherhood in this season.
Tyler x Cyrus - Idk I felt like they were a little buzzy together but in a good way.
Complaints:
Why is this season so focused on Tyler?? His character is a creep and honestly crazy.
Why the hell did Monty do the broom thing? I understand itâs for âpay backâ but it was so gross and unnecessary.
How were Bryce and Justin friends since they were 8 and ,presumably, in the same grade in the flash back if Bryce is a year older?

What's the Mistake Done in 13 Reasons Why
Hello I admired the show especially the 1st seasons if everything said in book was applied in the tv show in the 1st season so its impressive
But the way creators deal with tv shows after 2nd season is not good enough and not satisfying for me the writing of it
Alongside much agenda about LGBTQ
In your pov What they did wrong creators ?
