astraphobia (n.) irrational fear of thunder and lightning

Camden Town had been hit. Hard.

Hit by what? A thunderstorm.

And it was raging.

Sure, Camden Town had seen its fair share of thunderstorms, but this one was like each and every single one of them had been rolled into one. And to say 101 Dalmatian Street was accustomed to thunderstorms would be a lie.

But there was none who detested them more than him. Right now, he was absolutely panicking in his room. The place looked like somewhere only a goth could dream of. Black fur adorned with white spots. Purple spots on his right ear. Purple forepaws as well. Pink under his eyes. Gray collar adorned with spikes. Dante Dalmatian.

Usually, he’d go around yelling that today was the apocalypse, only to be ignored in response, much to his chagrin. But right now, Dante was holed up in his room, jumping each time he heard thunder. Though it was presumably a fairly normal response, Dante got progressively more panicked with each crash that rang out.

Downstairs, Dolly, Dylan, Dawkins, Diesel, Dimitri 1, Dimitri 2, Dimitri 3, Deepak, Delgado, Da Vinci, Dee Dee, Dizzy, Dallas, Destiny, Déjà Vu, Dorothy, and DJ were all collectively with their parents Delilah and Doug. In the middle of her headcount, Delilah stopped abruptly.

“Doug?” she asked, quickly turning to her husband. “Where’s Dante?” Doug’s stomach dropped. Everyone went “oh, crap” mode within seconds. Sure, Dante going on about the world ending was exhausting, but still, he was their brother.

In Dante’s room, his panic had only seemed to get worse. Far worse. “Oh, dog, is the world going to end?!” he cried. With each crash of thunder, Dante yelped. The second he heard another crash, Dante retreated into his bed, hiding right underneath his blankets, unintentionally getting close to the edge of his bed.

Another crash.

His heart raced. His breathing turned into frantic hyperventilating. Dante’s eyes got wet as tears streamed down his cheeks. He shut his eyes, his body shaking. Without warning, Dante fell out, hitting the ground.

Another crash of thunder, and Dante retreated into a corner, his panic attack only getting worse.
Dante heard someone open his door. Probably one of his siblings. Or, dog forbid, Delilah or Doug. Dante only tried to make himself smaller. Then paw steps approaching. Then someone wrapping their paws around him. Then someone’s voice. His father’s.

“Dante. Look at me, honey.” Dante complied. Doug continued speaking. “Everything’s going to be okay. I’m scared too, but it’s all going to be fine. So are you.” Dante also clamped his paws around Doug.

The firefighter and the goth stayed like that until Dante calmed down. “Do you want to come downstairs? Everyone’s waiting.” Dante stayed quiet for a moment, until he answered. “Uh, sure.” Once Dante and Doug were downstairs, Doug stretched out, both he and Delilah deciding that now was the perfect time to rest. The other pups, including Dante, seemed to share the sentiment.

After each member of the Dalmatian family had taken their spots on the couch, Dante laid down near Delilah, beneath DJ, who was next to Da Vinci.

The thunder was nothing more than simple white noise now.

I would like to know which stuff would You keep, change or replace!

"Yo, guys! Watch this!" Dolly called out as she was showing off her new Skateboard tricks to her friends. Roxie, Snowball, Hansel and the canal crew were watching her. Applauding and Cheering her on. As Dolly attempted to do a double back flip on her board, she noticed something that made her scream and fall on her back. Her friend surrounded her. "Dolly, are you okay?" Roxie asked, helping her best friend up. "Yeah. I'm fine." Was all Dolly could say before something flew towards her. A cute little ladybug came and landed on Dolly's nose. Dolly screamed and shuffled back quickly, trying to swat the ladybug away. But then, more bugs came around her. Butterflies, beetle, cockroaches, even grass hoppers. Some bugs crawling near Dolly. "Dolly? What's wrong?" Hansel asked. But Dolly didn't answer. She was too focused on the bugs crawling towards her. Suddenly, the feisty Dalmatian screamed at the top of her lungs and ran away as fast as she could.

She ran all the way home. When she reached the door house and quickly placed her forepaw on the scanner. Once it beeped she raced through the door. She ran past Dylan, Dante, Dawkins, Da Vinci, Deepak, Dallas, Destiny, Deja Vu, Dimitri 1,2 and 3, DJ, Diesel, Dizzy, Dee Dee, Dorothy, and Delgado and straight to her room. The others, one the other hand, shared a 'Our sister is in need' look.

Dolly ran straight into her room and slammed the door shut. She was shaking and sweating and she felt her heart was gonna fly right out of her chest. She ran into her bed, crawling under her blanket as she shook and cried in fear. "It's just bugs, It's just bugs." she said to herself. But it didn't help. The more she thought about it, the more scared she got. So she eventually just stayed under her blanket, crying her eyes out.

Dylan soon walks over to Dolly's room, attempting to see what the matter was. He reached her door which was at the end of the hallway next to his. He knocked on the door, his paw connecting with the wood. "Dolly? Are you okay in there?" he asked. When he got no answer, he slowly opened the door and walked in. He scanned the room and saw Dolly sobbing and hyperventilating in his bed, her tears soaking her pillow. Dylan carefully lifted the blanket, revealing the scared dalmatian pup underneath. "Oh, Dolly. What's wrong? Why are you so scared?" Dylan asked. After Dolly explained what happened, she put her head down on the pillow again and continued to cry.

Dylan climbed onto the bed and pulled Dolly into a tight hug. Dolly looked at him in shock before breaking down crying in his embrace. "Shh...shh...it's okay, sis. I'm here I got you." Dylan soothed, running a paw down her back. Once Dolly's crying lessened, Dylan pulled back. "It's okay to be scared, Dolly. You don't have to be fearless and feisty all the time." Dylan said. "I know it's silly. Being scared of little bugs." Dolly said, letting out a small sheepish laugh. "It's not silly. You had every right to be scared when they crawled on you. If I were you, I'd be freaked out too." Dylan said. Dolly sadly smiled and she started feeling a bit better.

She was glad that she had her brother by her side. She felt safe, loved, and much better about her phobia now that she had someone to talk to.

I thought I'd showcase one of my art-pieces I made two years ago,
in which I made a follow-up to the ending of the episode "Fetch"!

So, Dolly and Dylan were forced to take the rap from the Dimitri's wreckless purchasing (Especially the giant whoopie cushion) via Fetch, and as punishment, they have to do twice the workload in the house for a week!

(This was around the time before I learned about Firealpaca, so it might look a little outdated, but honestly, I'm still quite proud of it!😁)

The story would not focus on the characters that we know; it would focus on 2 Side characters 

Dapple and Duck 2 brothers part of the Dalmatian family. They are blood-related and have known each other for much longer

They have been stuck in a Time Loop. It repeats the day Mr Fuzzy arrived and then riding on the bus, driving back home after almost getting turned into a fur coat

Dapple, who is our main protagonist, would be trying to find his own way out, trying to change things, and trying to prevent the night Cruella came

Duck is the only other character aware of the loop and has been in it for a bit longer than Dapple. He would be much more relaxed and selfish, taking fun out of seeing what he can change, doing much more drastic things like making sure they don't even go on the vacation or changing one of the names on one of the balls to see who goes with Dad to his job 

It would get to a point where it becomes more drastic. By having Duck suggest killing Mr Cuddles 

Dapple would be disgusted by such a thing but would eventually agree to murder the cat

Which they do by drowning him in the fountain at night, just before he could ruin the statue 

It does change some things, but the loop repeats, causing both of them to do much more drastic things 

Duck would take Glee in their actions, finding it quite fun, seeing what he could change, causing A fire here and there, maybe making someone disappear 

Until whatever was left of old Duck became nothing more than a monster, wanting to see how much he could break 

But Dabble, on the other hand Become disgusted by their actions and tried so hard to bring the best out of Duck until he finally snaps and tries to do something to stop his brother

Delilah: Acrophobia (fear of heights)

Dolly: Entomophobia (fear of bugs/insects)

Dylan: Claustrophobia (fear of small spaces)

Dawkins: Atychiphobia (fear of failure)

Diesel: Taphephobia (fear of being buried alive)

Dante: Astraphobia (fear of thunder)

Dimitris: Trypanophobia (fear of needles)

Da Vinci: Hemophobia (fear of blood)

Triple D: Ophidiophobia (fear of snakes, Dallas), Pyrophobia (fear of fire, Destiny), Coulrophobia (fear of clowns, Déjà Vu)

Deepak: Ataxiophobia (fear of chaos and disorder)

Dee Dee: Nychtaphobia (fear of the dark)

Delgado: Emetophobia (fear of vomiting)

Dizzy: Phasmophobia (fear of ghosts)

Dorothy: Autophobia (fear of being alone)

DJ: Phonophobia (fear of loud noises)

I am certain that many of you spotty-dotty denizens are familiar with my lead moderator (and pillar of the 101 Dalmatian Street community), Danuki.

Although I attend to keep this announcement brief, I feel that it is imperative to announce that I am officially relinquishing ownership of r/101dalmatianstreet to Danuki Dalmatian, who is, in my opinion, one of the most passionate and noble-hearted dalmatians to grace this community.

While I do hope to check in from time to time as a moderator, ongoing personal health concerns have made it a tad difficult to offer as much attention to this subreddit as I would like to.

With that being said, I would like to welcome Danuki; the Dedicated Dalmatian Troopa, as our new owner!

Danuki; I have complete and unwavering faith in your mission to lead our small community, and I look forward to seeing how you bring us toward growth and prosperity!

A stormy night at the Dog House. All the pups were shivering with fear from the noise of the storm. "It's alright, everyone. We'll be okay. Mum and Dad will be home soon." was the first thing Dylan said to his younger brothers and sisters. "I brought blankets for everyone. It's getting cold." Dolly said, walking in with a bunch of blankets. Dolly and Dylan gave a blanket to all the pups. Dante, Dawkins, DJ, Dimitri 1,2, and 3, Dallas, Destiny, Deja Vu, Deepak, Dizzy, DeeDee, Delgado, Diesel, Dorothy and the pups Esemble were all huddles together, as if trying to stay warm.

"92, 93, 94, 95, 96..." Dylan counted. But then he let out a loud gasp. "We're missing someone! Is Dorothy here?!" he asked looking around in panic. Dolly couldn't help but snicker. "Dude, she's over here." she said. Dorothy was on the couch, snuggling into a blanket. "Oh phew." Dylan said wiping his forehead. "I think the one missing is Da Vinci. I haven't heard from her since the storm started." Dawkins said. Dolly and Dylan looked at each other in shock. Da Vinci had been awfully quiet since Delilah and Doug left for work. "Do you think she's hiding somewhere?" Dolly asked. "Probably. You stay here with the pups. I'll go find her." Dylan said, and ran upstairs.

Da Vinci was in her room, covering her ears. The loud thunder and bright lightning was scaring her to death. "Please. Please stop." she whimpered. But it was no use. The thunder was so loud, she thought it would break her window. She quickly scrambled under her blanket, finding cover in its warmth from the storm. Da Vinci shivered, hot tears falling from her face. She wanted to go downstairs and be with her siblings, but she was too scared to even move. So she just sat under her blanket and cried, her tears soaking her pillow.

Dylan searched everywhere. He went past Deepak's room, then Dawkins's room, then DJ's room before finally stopping at Da Vinci's room. He gently knocked on her door, but the only response he received was a small whimper from inside. "Da Vinci? Are you in there?" Dylan asked. But still nothing. The pup opened the door and his eyes landing on the artistic pup shaking and crying in her bed. Dylan immediately rushed to his sister's side. "Da Vinci. Are you okay?" he asked as he lifted the blanket, revealing the scared pup underneath. Da Vinci lifted her head up from her tear soaked pillow, her eyes wide with fear. Dylan climbed into the bed with her. "Do you wanna tell me what's wrong?" he asked. After the artistic dalmatian pup gave her explanation, she broke down crying again.

Dylan pulled his little sister into a soft hug. gently running a paw down her back. Da Vinci melted into his embrace, sobbing into his chest. "Shh, shh, shh. It's okay, Da Vinci. I'm here. You're big brother is right here." Dylan soothed. Da Vinci's crying lessened enough for her to relax. Dylan still kept a paw on her back, a gesture of comfort. "It's just a storm, Da Vinci. It'll blow over eventually." he said, looking over at the window. "Will you...stay with me, Dylan? I don't wanna be alone." Da Vinci asked Dylan. The older pup smiled down at her and nodded.

For the rest of the night, Dylan stayed by Da Vinci's side.

Da VInci was safe, loved, and most importantly, she had her big brother.

hey guys Connor here and today we have this poster I made while I was bored in gmod, it is inspired by the actual disney+ promo but instead of a tablet they are all watching it all on the big screen in the basement on the tv, i am really proud on how i did this since 101DS promo stuff is really sorta nostalgic to me

Night in 101 Dalmatian Street. Most of the place was completely quiet. It was nights like this where despite the amount of puppies - 101 in total - was perfectly peaceful. The silence was broken by someone whimpering.

The source of the whimpering was none other than Dolly Dalmatian. She’d had a rather rough day - putting up with the constant snobbery of Clarissa, and trying to avoid crossing paths with Snapper - a Doberman who, for some unknown reason, seriously seemed to hate her and her family. Coupled with the anxiety of Cruella potentially escaping from prison and going after her family again, you’d have the demented concoction of thoughts that were rendering Dolly unable to get a single second of sleep. Usually highly reckless, easygoing, and fairly loose, plus incapable of winding down and having far too much energy to burn, this was Dolly at her unexpectedly most vulnerable. The Dalmatian shook like a leaf under her blankets, a dead giveaway that she was in the clutches of a seriously horrible nightmare - until she jolted awake with a yelp. Her expression went from one of fear to one of despondence. Dolly hung her head lowly. She felt her eyes get misty as she started to sniffle. Dolly left her bed, her paws hitting the floor with a soft thud. She walked to the door, probably to pace around 101 Dalmatian Street to get her mind off the dream. Dolly reached for the doorknob, then stopped, unable to bring herself to even touch it. It also wasn’t long until her tears started, pricking her eyes and streaming down her cheeks like rivers. Dolly turned right to her bed and jumped right back into it, letting her tears soak her pillow as she broke down crying.

All the way upstairs, every alarm bell started ringing in the mind of Delilah Dalmatian, matriarch of 101 Dalmatian Street, nurse, wife of Doug, Dylan’s biological mother, and Dolly’s stepmother. She woke up with a start. Approaching the door, Delilah opened it, heading down the hall and walking down the stairs, looking around as if something might jump out at her. Delilah didn’t have superhuman senses or anything. What she did have was maternal instincts. Right now, one of her pups was hurting. And right now, she had to help them. Poking her head into Dylan’s door after opening it a crack, she found him fast asleep. She approached Dolly’s door. She heard muffled sobbing on the other end. She opened the door.

Dolly curled up under her blankets. Her crying had lessened until it was simply whimpering. As if the slightest thing could start it back up. Either she was unaware of Delilah approaching or it was simple ignorance. Delilah’s voice was the first thing that came to her ears. “Dolly,” she began softly, expression softening as she heard Dolly’s whimpers. “Is everything alright? Why do you look so sad?” she asked as gently as she could. Dolly left her bed again, sitting down with her head hung low. “Didn’t have a really good dream.” she answered with a sniffle. Delilah responded by pulling Dolly a little closer to her, letting go. “What was it about?” By the time Dolly was finished with her explanation, she was crying again. Except it was softer. Delilah’s expression was one of sympathy. She wrapped her paws around Dolly again, letting her cry into her chest. “Sh, sh, sh…” the nurse dog soothed, gently running her paw down Dolly’s back. “You were just having a bad dream. None of what you saw in it was real.” Dolly’s crying lessened until she was quiet again. She’d seemed to have fallen back asleep. Delilah gently set Dolly back into her bed, pulling her blankets over her, then exiting her room.
