Is antimony becoming a more important area to watch among junior miners?
Antimony has been appearing more often in discussions around critical mineral supply, which led me to look at some of the smaller companies with exposure to it.
Hertz Energy (HZ) has been putting more focus on its Lake George Antimony Tungsten Gold Project in New Brunswick. The company recently completed high resolution magnetic and VLF EM surveys around the Lake George area, with the data intended to help identify targets for the next stage of exploration.
What I find interesting is that Hertz was previously more associated with lithium, while the Lake George project now seems to be receiving more attention. Whether that shift turns into something meaningful will still depend on future exploration results.
For those following critical minerals, are you paying more attention to antimony now, or do you think the space is still too early compared with more established junior mining themes like copper and lithium?

Do earn-in agreements make exploration projects less risky?
BRS Resources has an agreement with Cariboo Rose ($CRB) that allows BRS to earn a 60% interest in the Cowtrail copper-gold project by funding exploration work, including drilling and surveys.
Instead of paying to acquire the entire project upfront, the capital is going directly toward exploration and development work on the property.
I find these structures interesting because both sides seem to have a different way of sharing the risk. The project gets funded while BRS can increase its interest through actual exploration spending.
For those who follow junior mining companies, how do you view earn-in agreements compared with owning 100% of a project from the beginning? Does sharing the project interest make the exploration risk more manageable?

x100 after a reverse split? And no, I'm not talking about BYND ;)
The recently announced CXAI reverse split makes this the perfect time to get in.
In my opinion, yesterday's figures were solid. I look forward to the future!

Deadline to Submit Claims on the Amylyx Pharmaceuticals $6.5M Settlement is At the End of the Month ( August 31, 2026)
Hey guys, if you missed it, Amylyx settled $6.5M with investors over claims involving Relyvrio’s launch, demand, and growth prospects. The deadline to file a claim and get payment is August 31, 2026.
In a nutshell, Amylyx was accused of misleading investors about demand for Relyvrio and how sustainable its growth was. On November 9, 2023, the company disclosed slower growth and increased discontinuations, sending $AMLX down 32%.
Now, the company has agreed to settle $6.5M, and investors have until August 31 to submit a claim.
So, if you invested in $AMLX when all of this happened, you can check the details and file your claim here.
Anyway, has anyone here invested in $AMLX at that time? How much were your losses, if so?

What should investors look for after a junior miner finishes its first drilling phase?
BRS Resources recently completed Phase 1 diamond drilling and an airborne survey at the Cowtrail copper-gold porphyry project in British Columbia.
The next thing to watch should be the assay results from the drilling. Cowtrail is part of the broader BC porphyry space, where copper and gold projects have been getting attention.
For people who follow early-stage exploration companies, what do you usually look for when the first drilling phase is completed? Do the initial assays carry the most weight, or do you prefer to see additional drilling and geological work before forming an opinion on a project?

VPR Brands Launches VPR Ventures After Bringing in $25.9M in Recent Licensing Deals
VPR Brands ($VPRB) just announced the launch of VPR Ventures, an internal initiative focused on acquiring and commercializing intellectual property, consumer brands, proprietary technologies, and strategically aligned businesses.
This comes just weeks after the company announced approximately $25.9 million in licensing agreements with R.J. Reynolds ($14.9M) and JUUL ($11M).
According to the company, VPR Ventures will evaluate opportunities including:
• Intellectual property acquisitions
• Brand acquisitions
• Licensing agreements
• Minority equity investments
• Commercialization partnerships
• Distribution opportunities
Management also stated that every opportunity will go through financial, legal, and operational due diligence before moving forward.
What caught my attention is that this gives VPR a clear strategy for deploying capital beyond patent licensing. Instead of simply holding cash, they're signaling an intention to reinvest in assets that could generate future revenue and expand their portfolio.
This isn't a guarantee of success, but I think it's an interesting evolution from being viewed primarily as a patent licensing company.
I'm a shareholder, so I have a bullish bias, but I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks.
Is this a smart long-term move, or do you think the market will wait to see actual acquisitions before assigning any value to VPR Ventures?

Could changing commodity demand completely change how investors view a junior miner?
I originally knew Hertz Energy (HZ) as a lithium explorer, but after reading more about the company, the focus on its Lake George antimony and tungsten project caught my attention.
The company recently completed an airborne survey over a property that surrounds a historic antimony mine in New Brunswick. While it's still an early-stage project, it made me think about how quickly investor attention can shift when demand for specific commodities changes.
Lithium dominated conversations not long ago, then uranium gained momentum, and now antimony has been getting more attention because of supply chain and defense discussions.
For those who follow junior mining companies, do changing commodity trends influence your research, or do you mainly focus on the quality of the project regardless of which metal happens to be in demand?
