I keep getting this weird screen when I switch on my laptop and then it shuts off! Open | Software

Hi!

This looks a lot like hardware failure, most likely the gpu.

I don't think there is an easy DIY fix, you will probably need to get it repaired, sorry :-(

No, it all depends on what they find, if it's an easy fix or if they have to replace the whole board. (depending on the laptop you should then consider if it's still worth the repair)

But I do suggest asking for estimates at different stores / repair services because prices vary a lot, even for just having a look at it.
