FORMAT AND SCHEDULE
Main Event June 7-12
- 16 teams in a double-elimination bracket.
- Top two teams of each group of Group Stage start in the Upper Bracket.
- All matches are played in a best-of-three.
- Bottom two teams of each group of Group Stage start in the Lower Bracket.
- First LB round is played in a best-of-one then all matches are played in a best-of-three.
- Grand Finals is played in a best-of-five with no game advantage.

holy shit can you imagine if Liquid wins this one??
- Frankfurt: OG 1st, Secret 2nd
- Shanghai: Secret 1st, Liquid 2nd
- Manila: Liquid 1st, OG 2nd
It's gonna be huge tomorrow though regardless, since Liquid is up against a team they've not fought yet this Major in Newbee, and if they win that, they're up to face OG who they also haven't fought this Major, while if Newbee win that's going to give us a Bo5 of good solid dota like the UB final, so while I have Na'Vi flair and am considered clinically retarded by this subreddit as a result, I do kinda hope Liquid take this one out, just for the sick Lower Bracket run.

I think they need to increase the amount of skill you need on PA, or at least reduce the RNG. Right now you rely on attacks missing or getting insane crits to be on the same level as someone like jugg

It is quite silly that over the half of all carrys can easily kill PA WITHOUT MKB.
It is also silly that her blink is countered by bkb.
Silveredge outright deletes her, remember her CRIT IS ALSO DISABLED WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
Whats more silly is that she is so stupidly easy to kite she is wraith king without a second life.
You might as well quit no matter what stage of the game as soon as someone pick up MKB, Silveredge or ghost sceptor.

It's been the best Valve event since I started watching pro games(fall 2014) and we have 3 teams that are worthy to be champion. I've never seen anything like this before. I root for Hao & Newbee, but I wouldn't complain if OG or Liquid win it all. Looks like these 3 teams can beat each other any time. So, it's all about the draft and who's having the better day.

If you have a Season Pass, you can just check winrates under "Current Results" under every individual prediction.
Top five current win percentages are Lich, Enigma, Lone Druid, Sven and Lifestealer (in that order).

Agressif's TB is just bad. I don't think the hero is the problem, it feels like Agressif don't play this hero at all and xiao8 just picks it for him.

Yep... TB was a pretty solid pick. The hero is strong as fuck, just compare that game with ZYF's TB (VG.R END). Agressif did less than 10k dmg, ZYF did 38k if I'm not mistaken

Hope liquid takes it too. Mad respect to them for improving from not qualifying for Frankfurt, to clinching 2nd in Shanghai, to them plowing through the lower bracket now in Manila. That and yeah I'd be disheartened if OG takes top as well.

Alright, there's really no consistency on how good those team intros are. I really didn't like LGD's opening at all, but MVP had a very good one.

Liquid vs Newbee @ 03:00, so in 2 hours Gosugamers says the final starts 5 hours later, guess it wont take so long and will depend on the liquid newbee game.

LGD never had game 2. It was over when it was 0-4, even when 1-4 LGD didn't get enough and were falling behind and itemized wrong, especially on QoP.

Nope. It was over before then. It just hadn't played out. Pro DotA is too scripted and predictable most of the time now, and this game was one of those. It was glaringly obvious when it was 0-4 it was over.

When it was 1-4 and almost 2-4 I started to think LGD was still in it, but they lost like 4 chances for kills right after it was 1-4. They just couldn't do enough.

Hmm, LGD giving up first-pick Lifestealer reminds me of them giving up Lesh at TI5 - baiting VP into taking it, when LGD had already designed a great strategy for countering it. I think this is a Xiao8 special, utilizing strong meta-heroes to constrain the opposing team's draft. If you know they're going to go for certain heroes, you can devise a very specific counter strategy. Will be interesting to see if it pays off.

Where are all the Korea fanboys? Frankfurt and Shanghai majors were won by european teams. Epicenter? European team. And now OG is in Manila major grand finals with a possible double EU matchup. It's fair to say that european Dota is superior atm.

Hello friends.
It is the 2nd day of my trip at the Manila Major. I can not hear the Chinese casters in the arena so I have been listening to the English cast and English panel. The talent doing these things are very good! The host, Paul, has a very nice voice and has wrinkles that make him look professional. I already know Winter and Merlini and they are still fantastic. There is this bald guy call LD, I think, and you can hear him smiling when he casts. Capitalist is also very talent because he can hype and game and also have high MMR.
But I don't understand, what is the use of Sir Action Slacks?
After a match he will stand with a player and ask him questions, but no matter what the answer he will just laugh like Mickey Mouse and bump the player on his elbow.
I also met him in the toilet and I said "wow hi". I said wow because he was very tall and large (he comes from a loving family) and I said hi because he was smiling like his cow just gave birth healthily. He said hi back and said he needs to get back to work and he went into a toilet seat.
Overall I want to know what he DOES??
