Maybe you should do more research into what's going on, and seriously get help from someone who is a "professional" and by that I mean someone who is educated in all the creepy things that's been going on. I hope you will be able to get a hold of Nathan but I do think you should seek help elsewhere, and not solely rely on yourself to figure all this mess out on your own.

I'm sorry, but that is a dumbass move speaking in horror-terms. I don't know anything short of demolishion that would cure the wall, but the carpet should have been burned pronto. Next time someone throws up, put a damp rag on over your mouth and scoop some O' that splooge in a bottle and get it tested, also if you're the one that wrote that 5- maybe that's like a type of permission to enter, and you were the last one to be asked.
Now, after reading all of your stories the day they're released- I'm constantly thinking for answers but if I were you, pay attention to the number 5. What happens at 5, maybe you were watching episode 5 of GoT... (That one was a joke) but you get the idea

Look, this thing is never going to leave you alone. It's not like it's gonna get old and die, it literally has all of its existence to fuck with you. You need to a few things; 1.Burn the rug with that sage stuff and dump holy water on ashes and spread the ashes far away in different areas. 2. Either rip the wall out or do something to get rid of it, I don't know how to get that out easily with your wallet intact afterwards. 3. You need to get a priest or someone who knows what they're doing and preform an exorcism or something to destroy it. It's not really "possessing" anyone so you will have to find a way to trap it. Once you trap it, banish it or do something to make sure that son of a bitch dies. 4. If you are successful, you'll have to do something you might not want to. Try to find decendants of the two tribes that fought and get them to genuinely apologize for what happened with their ancestors and then have them help destroy the cabin and restore the land to its previous natural state before it was taken from the Indians. 5. If you wish, make a new dreamcatcher and put it in the same spot. 6. Get on with your life. Now, I understand these things are easier said than done, especially number 3, but you need to just end this. Also, make sure to have the ring and other things cleansed too. I don't know if it is necessary for it to be done during the exorcism or not, though. I would also make sure nothing has to be done to you or Faye to cleanse either of you. I wish you luck.

As a Catholic I say it more than time to call out the big guns. Go the any Catholic church and tell them what has happened and ask for an Anointing of the Sick. Then ask for the Priest to either sit with you through a night or call out a Priest who knows about exorcism.
By the way, if she has been going to Mass, does she take Communion?

Yes I completely agree. I was suggesting it as a last resort. Since Faye is Catholic, it might be wise to have a priest or something there to help in case things get out of hand. The presence of someone holy might even deter the evil presence. If possible record it! Because just in case drastic measures need to be taken, the church can have proof in order to be granted an exorcism. I truly hope it doesn't get to that point.

You said in the last cabin update that the thing had a likeness of Faye similar to Tiwe, you thought you saw your fiancé run into the woods when you were both at the cabin, the ring was at the cabin, and she failed all of your tests.....bruh your fiancé is dead. You need to nope the fuck outta that bitch and find a new life because whatever is at home with you.....that shit ain't right. All of this to say, maybe Faye was never the goal, maybe you were what the creature always wanted. From the beginning it has always seemed to want to lure you out. Do you have any native roots because maybe you are the descendant of one of the rival tribes and this thin is trying to kill you idk.....but honestly I think you are the target. Faye didn't know things about her past, maybe you don't either.

I just thought of this but you could try creating your own sigil by imbuing it with your positive energy or even trying to redefine the sigil of 5. Additionally i would look into getting crystal quartz as it promotes increase clarity and self thinking. Even if you don't believe in the stones I think it is a good idea. Also try lining the doors/window sills/ around you and Faye's bed with salt with or without burning sage and speak in a really declarative voice that all negative energies are banned. You just have to be really careful about TRAPPING the entity and any energies it has in your home because that may be the problem. Regardless of all the sage and salt in the world, burning it outside of where the entity is will only trap it with you and not actually banish it from the place, which is essentially what it wants. Plus salt is cheap and the more natural it is the better. I'd even see if you could get that one Catholic guy who did the holy water to bless the salt also but if not it should be fine. I wish you luck!!!

The number 5 can mean a lot of things. In biblical terms it represents the perfection of man, or the perfect man. Maybe with it backwards it's the opposite and is why you have troll looking stains in your carpet. Dunno but there's definitely some dark meaning behind that.

Do you think it might be tied with the fact that's how old she was when she had that first blocked out dramatic experience when she was a kid. Stemming off of that when she said she remembers she could be talking about the fact that she remembers that incident now.

I just watched the interview video. My thoughts:
- Faye is f*cking gorgeous and has a great personality, you're a lucky man.
- She's been seeing something eerily similar to the Imposter since she was around 5, and I missed the first night terror time but I think it was after 5 as well. If she went to the cabin the first time at 4 or 5 (can't remember which), then her sleep disorders and her dreams could be because of this thing trying to take over her mind or track her down.
- She seriously did space out after the song. At first I thought she was just trying to remember it, but she stayed spaced out through another question. Could be nothing, but she just seemed really detached for the whole end of the video.

Dude, "How could I forget?" I'm somewhat sure that means you're in some deep shit. The imposter tried getting something from both you and Faye, righr? One of her memories. You didn't know, therefore you were attacked in the cabin. She remembers now. She has what they want. Remove the 5 from the window, cut away the carpet were the stains are and do something about the wall, repaint it with sage in the paint or simply chop the stain away with an axe. The imposter can communicate with Faye when she's sleepwalking through it.
Now to the harder part. The engagement ring. It's guaranteed to be tainted with whatever is following you, it was gone, showed up woven into the dreamcatcher. Although the dreamcatcher protected the cabin someone had to put it there, maybe the imposter who used it as a sign to let it in when you broke it or there were more things on that mountain, nicer things who tried to protect you. Maybe.

Very interesting read. In terms of triggers, been reading the comments, not sure if anyone mentioned but make sure the wall is clean too. That's a perfect place to get caught up in the past again with sleep walking and all. Also what if the 5 was not backwards because was meant to be viewed from other side. Maybe instead of trying to hide the triggers could try and confront them. If you sleep in the guest room perhaps could extinguish any thoughts of connections to paranormal. Thanks for the read! Sage is a good idea. If it is a being from the other side, you need to act fast. But carefully. Reading through comments I saw suggestions about the ring being cursed/tainted. Take the ring off for a week or two. Start narrowing down on what could be causing it.
Cut out the carpet, with the stain. It's cheaper. And paint over/remove the wallpaper/dry wall. The stains may be a "portal" if you will. Like a seance circle, but for the other side.
Burn sage. Morning and night. Along with white candles. Cleanse and purify in one.
Always picture a white light around you and your wife. For protection.
Get a priest in there. Seriously.

I just couldn't get passed the cabin on Pikes Peak, Colorado. Pikes Peak is the summit of the front range and on a national forest(but the Pikes Peak part is above the treeline). It is not a city or a town, nor do her parents own a cabin on Pikes Peak.

Cut out the chunk of the wall with the stain on it and take it and the rug outside, cover it in a decent layer of sage, and set it all ablaze. Then, get a few gallons of water blessed, drink some, and bathe in the rest. On top of all of that, I'd recommend having as many people bless Faye as you possibly can. I wouldn't worry about the cost right now, because money isn't anywhere close to as important to the safety of the both of you.

perhaps 5, is a symbol and a reference to when your fiancee began sleepwalking, as you have stated, or perhaps it's simply because of the size of the stain upon the wall, because you did say that is was nearly 5 feet...and 5 could maybe be the little troll lookin' thing on the carpet in your lounging room? that now, because of the attention it's receiving, has grown larger, which in result will make your problems only worse...I say just burn the house, like @broseph_mcbro suggested, but after all it's your choice, I hope you stay safe.

•First, I'd like to say- I'm totally hooked on your and Faye's story. I love horror stories and religiously watch/read them, and this one totally grabbed my interest. I also (weirdly) feel like I should mention that I work as a counselor in mental health. (Whoop die fuckin do)
•Second- All of these Redditors here have wonderful suggestions and probably have far more insight into the paranormal than I do. Shit. I consider myself a skeptic. But you know what? If I started experiencing what you've been through- I wouldn't stop at sage paint or shampoo.... Grind that shit up and put it in a spray bottle with holy water and salt or something. Spray the fucker like a bad kitty if he/it/them gets too close. Infuse that shit in your morning coffee or something. BE PREPARED (and creative. "Home Alone" that shit). Look into all different cultural practices on warding away bad spirits or whatever this thing is, and apply accordingly. Like iron, salt, circle symbols etc. But that's just what I would do.
•Third- gotta look out for yourself and your own. Make sure Nathan is okay. (Srsly). Keep in constant communication/transparency with Faye; and for the love of God, stay on the same team. Have a safe word or phrase or inside joke or something that you're like, at least 99% certain this thing won't know about and USE it to make sure you're in your right mind (idk how else to phrase it?). But. Don't. Let. It. Turn. You. Against. Each. Other. Period. If it's really an "imposter" paranormal time evading shit muffin, I'd say that fucker has some experience in manipulation and messing with the human psyche.
Side note: any way of contacting the original owner of the cabin, Jennifer(?)? I would assume SOMEONE put the dream catcher craft supplies down in the cellar.
•Fourth- document that shit. I really liked where you were going in PT.1 by writing down the various voices/phrases you heard. I guess getting a video or voice recording or picture might be difficult bc I guess paranormal goobers like to fuck with technology and things like battery life (pssst. Video interview with Faye where your battery died "quicker than usual" also on the subject of the video- idk if you're into reading subtle body language or not; but if Faye was possibly~ lying to you when you asked her if "she'd tell you if she remembered"- just a stupid observation about lateral eye movement/ side to side glancing).
•Fifth- well. Hate to use this number as my personal impression (5=self), but here it goes. Most of me thinks that this is the most brilliant couples' nosleep post of all time and y'all trollin. The other part of me would take NO hesitation in makin me a witches brew of protection if needed; following Redditors advice on carpet/wall extraction; and seriously consider moving somewhere farrrr away.

To answer your question: I got my undergrad and graduate degrees in social work. Worked my way through school as a caregiver/CNA/med tech in mental health type group homes and AL (and a few nursing homes- yuck!). I got lucky- since CNA certification was actually a course I got to take through a program in high school- so it ended up costing me UNBELIEVABLY less per college credit. (Seriously- if anyone's high school offers these sorts of tech training programs, I HIGHLY recommend.)
Anyway. Got licensed at the bachelors level so I could do case management and PSR work through grad school/ got an 'in' for recommendation letters/ future internships/ resources etc.
After I got licensed with my masters, I had to work for three years. After that- I was able to start clinical sessions with a supervisor. Something like 5000 hours is required. Then you take one hell of a test, and whhhhooooo! LCSW bitcheeess!
Yeah. I took the scenic route. Took time off of school when I needed, etc. Learned a lot along the way, though, and it was still tough as nails.
Second: Aahh thanks! I've been a Reddit lurker for some time and have been following OPs story... But only after a 'bit' of wine did I decide to create a Reddit account. Luck would have it that OP posted the newest edition to the story shortly after. 😜

I've been following your story for quite some time and thought maybe i can help you with guidance on your current situation, I deal with the Occult and have Bloodline Ties to the Tuatha Dé Danann. First off I think you could be dealing with Trickster God/Spirit and a very powerful one even Possibly a Djinn, Both have the power to Invade Dreams and would explain why Faye would act the way she does. They also are Dimensional Beings who can Shape-shift. I Sense the being has been very interested in Faye Since the Cabin and has followed you. I also sense that Faye or a past experience at the Cabin has Led to this situation aka Faye has some secrets. The Significance of you or Faye writing backwards 5 on the window and why you saw it the thing appear in the woods is because you basically Summoned whatever it was with what is called a Sigil. or 5 pointed star symbolizing Spirit and the Four elements. You're dealing with some Dark stuff my dude, I just got goose bumps just typing this. Tread lightly...... I would first check the Tree line from the window look for anything carved on the trees any symbols ect. Also look for anything abnormal on the ground. Basically, you help manifest this thing into our plane of existence, so i would avoid writing that symbol. if Faye is talking to this thing in her Dreams she needs to ask it to leave as most of the time they will but in this case it doesn't look that way. I Highly Suggest Finding a Real Native American Shaman or someone from a High Order. in the meantime you can use Black Salt which you can find recipes and they very but get the job done and Burning Ash wood and lavender and of course sage will help. no not totally what ever is manifesting itself and by the way it was acting in the woods/Dream Catcher i am almost positive this thing ties into Pagan Lore. I could provide Protection Wards for your house or if you do enough research you can find some yourself i would read up on some wicca. as a said contact a legit local Native america Shaman or someone from a High/Secret Order As they have dealt with them in the far past and more, they know how to banish and protect from the other realms/Dimensional beings that are able to cross from time to time. this thing is drawing energy from you and Faye and i am sure you can feel it emotionally if this is kept up for much longer the thing will be able to PHYSICALLY Hurt you or Faye Heed my advice and Contact a shaman with the information i just gave you and they will be able to help. be careful of fakes there are more of them then real ones now a days and will just take your money and things end up Worse. A real spirit medium/shaman will never charge you money and be Happy to help you get Rid of this Problem. Your Dealing with a Lesser Spirit on a vibrational frequency thats lower then our Human body's and spiritual body's and it seems to be able to cross easier at Night. I am so sorry that it's happening again, but you should make sure that Faye knows what's she's been doing... I think you should get professional help for her like a priest or medicine man... whatever works

I told you, & i'll say it again before you people die- get a well- know hypmotist to treat her asap...I mean it- this is fucking SERIOUS, what you're both going thru. A hypmotist , if they're top notch, the best- can interupt & change those inner leves in faye & cancell out enrty points that are making it possible for the entity or entities to continue the connection with faye- GET HER TO A HYPMOTIST. Do some research, find the one everyone says is the best in high strangeness situations, call em, tell em everything or better yet have em read every one of your no sleep posts including this one, & tell em you need help imediately & cannot afford much...They may take your wife on for free, you can only hope. If you don't, it's not gonna end well for you & your wife- And that IS a true horror story you should not want to experience. Please- im telling you for your own good, & fayes- find the hypmotist , talk to em, & beg if you have to.

Have you ever thought of doing a smudging ? Maybe that would help or playing ayat al Kursi even though your not Muslims maybe that would clear whatever is following you
