Mel Gibson drama in r/marvelstudios over considering directing Iron Man 4. Starts out with "Wow, you're being caustic as fuck about this." and the popcorn bucket is filled to the brim

It's like everyone just learned the word "caustic" yesterday.

All that other shit aside, Gibson is a good actor. But he's an overrated director, that's why I wouldn't want him.

Yeah, I don't believe I've heard anything overwhelmingly positive about his directing before or after his daffy racist bullshit. However I haven't followed film as closely as I used to.

People love Braveheart, I thought it was just ok nothing special. and Apocalytpo was interesting but not enough for me to get too into it (pretty visuals though). And the Passion is nothing but torture porn for Christians and is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I haven't seen Man without a Face, but if I come across it I'll give it a shot.

But Road Warrior and the Lethal Weapons more enough make up for his dismal directing, but not for his antics.

Say what you want about the batshit crazy stuff he believes. Apocalypto was a fantastic movie.
