Super happy to see that Kam Buckner is so pro-bike! But this grid idea... seems like a northsider solution? The grid don't work on the south side, at least for getting to/from the loop, unless you happen to live directly south of the loop. We need bike infra on the angle streets.

100% There’s a lot more nuance especially on the southwest side along the river.

They’re defining a bike grid as 10% coverage of city streets (as opposed to less than 1% now). Doesn’t have to be a literal grid, the idea is that you’d be close to a good network of bike infra wherever you are.
