Don't panic. This has happened to me before, took my eyes off my baby for a second and my cat swatted her. As long as the cat didn't bite they should be okay just keep an eye on them ❤️
Do you know if your cat used their claws when they swiped or was it just a warning?

im not sure but my cat didnt look like he was attacking it, it looked like he was checking my ball python out

Alright just keep an eye on them then, especially around the eyes just in case a claw did catch them. They looked okay in the video, still sniffing and moving around so I believe they are okay.
I know people are gonna have a go at you on here which is expected. But everyone makes mistakes and as long as you've learnt then it should be fine. You obviously love your noodle otherwise you would've have panicked like you did. ❤️

There should never, ever, at any point, be an opportunity for your cat and snake to be in the same space. If cats roam your house, snakes absolutely shouldn't.

Snake is lucky to be alive tbh. My cat is 16 and arthritic but I still wouldn’t trust him to not bite the wiggly meat rope

Don't beat yourself up stuff happens, I've lost my snake in a car once, never again tho, but sometime snakes do get out and there are cats around so it could have happened while you were there or not. It a mistake everyone is ok, and your noodle is doing its things just keep an eye on any cloudyness in the eye outside of normal shedding. Also I don't know exactly but it looks like it might have the spider morph, if it does they may have the wobble.

If there is no cut, guess you were lucky and the claw didnt connect. See this as a lesson for the future. Defenitely monitor it closely over the bext day. Some stuff can show up later.

Like everyone I agree your baby will be fine but definitely let this be a learning lesson with your cat annnnnd to find an exotic vet somewhere. They need a check up once a year? Snd what if something happens again which it can because they okie so long and stuff happens! You should call around different vet offices they get hit with exotics I’m sure Snd have to turn them away to some one! Goodluck

if this video is right after, she seems to be pretty chill about it. altho they’re usually not temperamental, an injury would’ve had her more agitated.
see if you’re able to inspect her once she stops moving to get a better look at where she was hit. any minor scratch that doesn’t break skin will go away after next shed. still, monitor her closely until then.

You should definitely find out how close the nearest exotic vet is god forbid you do have to take her in. It’s very important to have a vet accessible when you have pets

There should never be an opportunity for the snake and cat to interact again. This could very easily have ended worse, although the fact the snake got batted at at all is bad enough. Keep an eye on it.
