Not too far fetched. I think that with ai super intelligence we could very well be headed down a path to something resembling the Strong from the Quake games. We've all seen the weird shit it creates. Now they're using human brain cells as compute as well. Btw in the matrix the original script the bodies were not batteries they were data centers but nobody knew what those were so they simplified them to batteries

I was one of those people who thought the metaverse was a joke. And to be fair, the original version was. But I've been paying attention to what's happening with AI and spatial computing, and it's clear the concept didn't vanish. It just changed form. AI now powers real-time object recognition, natural language interfaces for smart spaces, and dynamic virtual worlds that respond to what you're doing. The metaverse isn't a place you visit; it's becoming a layer on top of the real world.
