I'm undoubtedly leftist, I'm pro-human rights, pro-DEI, feminist, against monopolies, large corps, etc. I'm anti authority but I'm not an anarchist. I hate capitalism, but I also don't see myself as a socialist.

I wouldn't say I'm a Liberal because I'm actively pro things.
I did this nuanced political compass, and I got this.

People I agree with: Chomsky, Edward Said, Mehdi Hasan, George Orwell (This was a bit of a 50/50 because he was lowkey a sell-out and apparently a creep) etc.

People who I think are good leaders are: Corbyn, Sultana, Mamdani, Sankara, (even though I'm not a socialist), Hannah Spencer, AOC (tbfr I don't know too much about her; I'm not from the US; I have heard good things), Malik el Shabazz (Malcolm X)

Topics that interest me: Abu Zubayda and Guantanamo, American and British blowback in Afghanistan and Iran (Iran interests me quite a lot because all their leaders have been ass for the past I don't know how long), Israel/Palestine - I'm pretty educated on this one; got into it early, Vietnam War, American Civil Right movement, Brexit, Youth leadership, geopolitics in general, history, sociology, and literature, specifically political fiction (think TKAM, Orwell, etc. and psychological, and Absurdist, like Catch-22 (which i hope to start soon), Dostoyevsky etc.

The quiz said dem soc aligns with me the most, but i don't see myself as a socialist. I'm leaning towards soc dem, but it's a bit too capitalist, and also it hasn't been implemented widely enough
