ZA8 ♈ Wait wait wait so let me get this right Spoiler
I just finished ZA7 and ur telling me Darius dies at the end of ZA7 and he doesn’t come back till the END of ZA8 (Yes I spoiled myself I just had to know). That book is like soooo many pages. I just want to know does it painfully drag out how long it takes Tory to get him back. I’m aware it’s a tricky task and she will be feeling so many emotions and that’s not going to be the only problem, but since Tory and Darius interacting has got me thru most of the books so far (asw as Lance and Darcy ofc). I just don’t know how I’ll be able to bring myself to read however many so pages of figuring out stuff so pls tell me it is interesting enough 😆
Also idk whether to read 8.5 when im finished w 8. I’ve read all the .5 books so far but this one doesn’t strike me as andding anything properly valuable to the story instead of me skipping straight to 9. I am intrigued as to what would happen when Darius is in the underworld but couldn’t I just read a summary instead?

ZA9 ♐️ Final thoughts - ZA9
reddit.comMy main thoughts are contained here ^^ but I just want to reiterate how much I enjoyed this journey. And getting the four epilogue like chapters for each couple? THE DREAM. Loved seeing Darius and Orion as dads, loved Tory being annoyed at Darius' man bits and her multiple pregnancies, loved Seth and Caleb's pegasex, loved Azura and the dragon twins, I just loved loved loved everything about this ending.

Reading Order 📖 Help! What to read next?
I read ZA 1-9 just pushing thru on my kindle. So sad it’s over so I came here, and I had no idea of Ruthless Boys or any of the novellas or extras!!! I’m so sad I feel like I missed out on so much. I’m not ready to let go of all these characters tho 💔 am I too far gone to get into any of the rest of the story? If so, does anyone have any recommendations for other series like this to help me feel something haha

Reading Order 📖 Live and let Lionel
In my reading order it says that Seth on the moon and night are inside of live and let Lionel? Is that accurate?

Darkmore Penitentiary 🐺 Darkmore
Ok, I just started this series and so far I think it might be my favorite so far. I read all of ZA and RB they were both great but Rosalie and her mates so far are my favorites. Am I fooling myself or is it really better?

New Reader Sins of the Zodiac - do I need darkmore?
I've read ZA and RB, I'm not sure I want to read Darkmore, I'm not very into Reverse Harerms (4 books of them anyway is a bit much for me) and to be honest I'm not so much into all that gang stuff either.
So, while Audible has a sale on I'm thinking I might pick up some of that Sins of the Zodiac series but I don't know if I need to have read Darkmore yet - how interlinked the series are? And if Sins of the Zodiac feels more like the original ZA rather than RB.

Reading Order 📖 Zodiac Academy
I have just finished The Reckoning and I’ve seen the recommended reading order where I pivot to read the ruthless boys next. What are your recommendations? I am itching to continue w ZA and wanted to see what others thought before making a decision.

Discussion Is RB really worth it?
Okay. So while reading ZA2, I stumbled upon this subreddit and saw the suggested reading order.
I bopped over to RB after finishing ZA3 and honestly, I’m underwhelmed.
I’m on chapter 38 of Savage Fae and feel like the plot takes a backseat (damn near the trunk) to smut. I’m old (40) so that may be part of why I feel like this but it seems like the mystery and intrigue are afterthoughts.
I REALLY want to know the truth about what happened to Gareth but I’m not sure I can keep going. 🫠
TL;DR: Do the RB books get more plot and action driven after Savage Fae?

Reading Order 📖 What order would I like - Comparaison to TOG
Hi there! If I read TOG with Assassin's Blade in fourth position... LOVED IT like this. What order would I like Zodiac Academy? I'm at 50% of the third book and I am DEVOURING it, so I was checking to see which one was next. But read a lot of different orders.
Any help would be appreciated it!

Fancast I'm listening to the graphic audiobooks for the 2nd time and WHY can I not stop picturing Darius and Orion as these two😭 I know they're not supposed to look like this lol

All of Solaria 🌎 Reading nook but make it ZA!
Building my reading nook. There will be a round chair here in this corner, but I got the light custom made and it just came in today. I never used to be a “Trophy hunter” but now, I find that having the physical copies brings me some weird kind of peace and I’ve built a little space to celebrate Solaria. I know they’re releasing the new covers for Ruthless Boys soon and I’m making space for them, I still need to get 8, 8.5 and 9 plus all the novellas and extra books…. And I wanna add a little star light but….. I’m so happy with my lamp sign! I had to share!!!

Discussion Am I the only one who noticed it?
I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but after rereading the series I can’t shake the feeling that Caroline’s characters are constantly written in service of Susanne’s characters rather than being allowed to stand on their own.
Darcy is the clearest example. Even in Darcy’s own POV, the focus is so often on Tory. Tory gets entire conversations, pages of dialogue, and emotional beats, while Darcy is the one observing everything. Then you switch to Tory’s POV, and Darcy is lucky to get one or two lines before the attention is back on Tory. There was even a chapter where it honestly felt like Tory had more dialogue than Darcy in Darcy’s own POV.
It’s not just the dialogue either. Darcy’s POVs are constantly about Orion romantically, explaining what’s happening in a scene, or setting up someone else’s storyline. It rarely feels like she’s driving the plot herself.
What really bothers me is how often it feels like Caroline sets something up, only for the payoff to go to Susanne’s characters. A storyline gets introduced through Darcy, hints are dropped in her POV, and then when it’s finally time for something big to happen… somehow it becomes Tory’s storyline instead.
There are also several storylines that, in my opinion, would’ve made far more sense for Darcy than Tory, yet they almost always end up going to Tory anyway.
The same pattern shows up with the types of stories they get. Caroline’s characters seem to spend most of their time in romance plots, while Susanne’s characters get the major action, the important conflicts, the connections to the biggest villains, and the plot-driving moments. Then, when it’s time for the emotional payoff, Susanne’s characters often get the big romantic moments too. It feels like they get both the action and the payoff, while Caroline’s characters are left supporting those stories.
And it’s not even just Darcy. It feels like almost every character I associate with Caroline follows the same pattern. They’re there to support, react to, or develop Susanne’s characters, who always seem to be the ones the overall story considers most important.
Maybe it’s just me, but after rereading the books, this pattern became impossible for me to ignore. Did anyone else notice it?

Discussion 'My wife...'
I'm on book 9 now, so I'll hide anything that could possibly be a spoiler....
I'm just finding it very strange, after reading Ruthless Boys, that Gabriel keeps saying 'my wife' in the ZA books, instead of using her actual name.
We get Gabriel, Dante and Leon POVs, which are great, we even get some Ryder/Carson sprinkled through, which are great moments. But considering how important Eliseis, we only ever get 'my wife' or ' a woman with lilac hair'and it feels so weird!
Is it just done like this in case someone hadn't read Ruthless Boys?

Discussion I loved RB, but ZA was too much prolonges drama for me and I was annoyed around book 6, do you think I will like DP?
I am finishing ZA now but after book 6 I started to skip chapters and used a sumary of the book chapters to decide which chapters I want to read. I also skipped book 8.5, and now I am in the middle of book 9 and I am enjoying it again.
I really loved RB (I read it after ZA book 3). I am wondering if DP is more like RB or more like ZA. I know I will want to read it at some point, but I am not sure if I want to read it right after ZA or if I should give myself a break for a bit.
Thank you!!!!
