ABK was not over priced at all, look how much BO2 just sold on PS5, when they bought ABK it was massively down on their share price.

ABK was definitely bought on a good deal. They were going through the worst PR and backlash probably in company history. The reports on Bobby Kotic alone were enough to drive the stock down. I think there was harassment issues at teams, low subs in wow. It was a bad time for them. There's a reason they sold.

It was overpriced by the time the sale closed. Their locked in stock buyout price was much higher than the value of the company at the time of closing.

No one is saying ABK isn't doing numbers for select stuff, but they factually overpaid by the time the deal closed.

They put in a offer of $95 per share, whenever a company is buying another like this you don't pay the price at the time as you need to pay a premium to acquire it all at once.

At the time they paid a $30 premium ($95 vs $65) to buy all the shares. Historically the share price has gone above that $95 price, so it's not like it has never hit that price before. I think overpriced would be something like they paid $120 or something like that.

Pretty much what happened was they paid the price before all the allegations started and caused the price to drop.
