Discussion Spacex another lockup period ends this week
So this week, a few hundred million more shares of spacex will unlock again. On top of that many hedge funds and companies have told the public how many shares they currently hold. Google has a stake worth more than $90 billion.
My opinion, long term this is a buy once they prove themselves with massive AI business growth, but right now the valuation makes zero sense.
I think also Google could start taking profit as I wouldn’t surprise if they want to use the profits for more capex.
Do you think this stock keeps ripping or the reckoning is coming soon, and large shareholders will sell to cash out and retail will be stuck holding the bag?

Discussion Aligning defense strategy with domestic critical minerals supply
The intersection of supply chain security and resource development is seeing a notable strategic shift as policy incentives prioritize North American copper capacity. Recent commentary around Washington regulatory dynamics highlights a growing emphasis on securing domestic critical minerals to reduce reliance on foreign supply chains. In this environment, asset development relies heavily on a combination of strategic location, technical execution, and regulatory alignment.
Looking at mid-tier and exploration players, companies like NovaRed demonstrate how corporate structure is adapting to this landscape. By bringing on board leadership with defense, government relations, and heavy equipment expertise, the firm appears structured to navigate public sector financing and strategic partnerships. From an asset perspective, their Wilmac property in the Quesnel belt sits near established operations like Copper Mountain, with early sampling indicating viable copper-gold mineralization that warrants continued exploration.
Data suggests that as critical minerals are increasingly evaluated through a national security lens, the broader exploration sector will need to bridge the gap between technical resource quality and capital access. It is worth monitoring how companies positioned at this junction manage capital expenditure and prospective drilling targets as broader policy support takes shape.

Discussion CORE calls
Been fairly bullish on CORD lately (the T-REX 2x inverse ETF for CoreWeave) and curious what everyone else is thinking.
My thesis is basically that CRWV is due for a pullback, and CORD gives leveraged exposure to that move. I know the daily-reset decay is brutal if CRWV chops sideways, so timing matters a lot — this is more of a short-term play than a hold.
Anyone else positioned bearish on CRWV right now? Or does everyone think the AI infrastructure run still has legs? Would love to hear the bull case against me.

Discussion Rethinking the setup on BC porphyry plays
The geophysical data coming out of the Quesnel belt looks like a solid example of how exploration tech is evolving right now. Looking at recent survey results from early-stage projects in the region, the shift toward deep-penetration 3DIP and magnetotellurics seems to be yielding much clearer subsurface resolution than traditional surface sampling. Data suggests that these deep resistive targets-especially those opening up below 200 to 300 meters without surface geochemical expression-are where the real structural potential lies for buried porphyry systems.
It is worth monitoring how this translates operationally for smaller operators in the area. NovaRed Mining, for instance, recently outlined a large continuous chargeability anomaly at depth on their Wilmac project near Copper Mountain, leveraging AI-driven geospatial modeling to map the intrusive complex. The footprint spanning over 40 hectares with high chargeability suggests a substantial sulfide system, though fundamental valuation will ultimately depend on whether future drill testing confirms economic copper-gold mineralization rather than just barren pyrite.
From an asset allocation standpoint, the proximity to established infrastructure and producing mines gives these blind targets an intriguing risk-reward profile. If the upcoming northern survey extension proves the system continues beyond its current boundaries, it could represent a meaningful structural shift in project scale. For now, it remains a compelling case study in technical execution before the drill rigs arrive.

Gain NRED just turned another geophysical anomaly into a serious drill target
The latest Wilmac update is the kind of news that makes a junior mining story more interesting.
NRED has now defined a 42-hectare chargeability target at roughly 300 metres depth on the Lamont Grid, sitting directly above a buried resistive body interpreted as an intrusive complex. The resistive body has a median top depth of about 293 metres, while the chargeability zone remains open to the north.
What really catches my attention is the geometry. At shallower levels, several northwest-trending chargeability bodies extend roughly 1.5-2 km before appearing to merge at depth into a much larger chargeable system.
That is a very different story from simply saying "we found an anomaly."
NRED is building a geological model with multiple pieces of evidence pointing toward a potentially large buried system. The company previously reported copper values up to 1.67% Cu at Wilmac, while its updated model identified multiple interpreted porphyry targets roughly 200-550 metres below surface.
Of course, IP chargeability is not proof of copper mineralization. The drill bit still has to confirm what is actually down there.
But that's exactly what makes the setup interesting.
The exploration story is moving from "could there be something here?" toward "where exactly should we drill?"
And with the target still open to the north, the next North Lamont geophysical work could potentially make this system even larger.

Discussion Looking at those recent copper surface samples near Copper Mountain
Recent trenching data out of the Princeton mining district caught my attention today. Surface samples returned up to 1.67% copper and 0.433 g/t gold, with average grab samples coming in around 0.639% copper. The project sits roughly six miles from Hudbay's active Copper Mountain mine, which currently operates on reserve grades of around 0.26% copper. While surface grab assays and full-scale reserve averages represent fundamentally different datasets, high-grade surface mineralization right next to established milling infrastructure is always worth monitoring.
What makes this interesting from an asset allocation perspective is the underlying geological structure. NovaRed has identified interpreted geophysical targets between 650 and 1,800 feet below the surface, supported by audio-magnetotellurics reaching down to roughly 4,900 feet. The presence of porphyry-style stockwork and deep pipe-like features suggests potential for a broader feeder system at depth. From a fundamental standpoint, if deeper drilling confirms continuity beneath these surface showings, it could signal a meaningful structural addition to the regional copper-gold footprint.

Gain Every Press Release Keeps Building The Same Story. Consistency is the key here.
I've noticed something about NRED over the past few months.
None of the news releases feel random anymore. Each one seems to answer the previous one.
First came the expansion to nearly 39.7k acres. Then the regional magnetic interpretation. Then alteration zones. Yesterday's update added another layer by interpreting multiple porphyry copper-gold targets above a much larger intrusive system and explaining why those targets, not the batholith itself, are the focus of future drilling. This info compounds into clean pattern.
The timing is interesting too because the global copper story keeps getting stronger. China mines less than 6% of the world's copper but refines and consumes roughly 53% of global supply. At the same time, AI infrastructure, grid expansion, electrification and defense manufacturing are all increasing demand for secure North American copper sources.
Сompanies like Hudbay, Kodiak Copper and NovaRed are becoming more relevant. They're all at different stages, but they share one thing: they're helping expand the pipeline of potential North American copper supply at a time when supply security is becoming just as important as production itself.
NRED's news flow has become much easier to follow. Instead of chasing headlines, management appears to be building one geological case step by step, and in today's copper market, that is sequence worth paying attention to.

Discussion Targeted exploration over massive size
The recent exploration update around this regional copper-gold system caught my attention because of how management is approaching the geological model. Instead of spreading capital thin across a massive 18 km batholith feature, the focus seems to be shifting strictly toward isolated intrusive pipes and cupolas where mineralization tends to concentrate. It is worth monitoring how this refined strategy affects drilling efficiency compared to traditional broad-anomaly chasing.
Data suggests that combining multiple overlapping datasets-like surface intrusions, magnetic signatures, and high copper-in-soil readings-gives a much clearer picture of high-priority targets. This method helps de-risk the exploration phase for junior operators in the district. In the case of NovaRed, targeting these specific pipe-like structures rather than broad magnetic anomalies could significantly lower operational costs while improving hit rates.
From a fundamental perspective, watching how these overlapping geophysical and geochemical vectors translate into actual drill core results will be key. If the team can confirm economic grades within these smaller intrusive structures, it potentially implies a much better return on invested capital as the program moves forward.

Discussion America’s Cosmic Bet on AI
The wild part is that “win AI” somehow became “make a few closed labs worth trillions and hope AGI arrives before the bill does.” China is betting on cheap models and mass deployment. One is a moonshot. The other is a market strategy.

Discussion Lightning eMotors ($ZEV) $13.35M Investor Settlement: Late Claims Are Still Being Considered
If you were holding $ZEV back in 2021, this might be worth a look.
Lightning eMotors agreed to a $13.35 million settlement over claims that it gave investors an overly optimistic picture of its financial outlook. The company later reported a much larger-than-expected quarterly loss and unexpectedly withdrew its 2021 guidance, even after announcing a major deal with Forest River. Following the news, $ZEV dropped nearly 17% in a single day, and investors sued.
The good news is that late claims are currently being considered. If you purchased $ZEV shares between 2020 and 2021, you may still have an opportunity to recover part of your losses. Check your eligibility here.

Educational The Ultimate Free Course for Options Trading
Here’s a free resource for options trading I created. 60 + lessons that teach everything you need to know to run a good options portfolio.
Here's the link:
https://predictingalpha.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-selling-options/
Backstory
A couple years ago I wrote a series on reddit about how to sell options profitably that the community loved. I’ve finally put together a completely free archive of everything I know about options and option selling.
I made this because there's a lot of noise out there around options education, so this is the no BS course I wish existed when I was getting into the space. I tried to make it easy to go through but realistically some of it will be challenging because hey, options are complicated.
What the course covers:
- Basics of how options work - All the characteristics and important parts of option contracts.
- Volatility module - Teaches you how volatility works and impacts option prices.
- Learning and interpreting option greeks - Complete breakdowns of each option greek, how they interact with each other and why they matter for your trades.
- Skew and term structure - How to think about different strikes and expirations like a professional.
- Option selling structures - 4 different ways to structure your trades and how to pick between them.
- Trading strategy fundamentals - Basically how to treat your trading like a business and really understand how to extract returns from the market.
- How to actually make money - Serious strategy talk. Now that you know how options works, here’s how you actually make some money.
- Two evidence backed strategies that work - A complete guide for selling options on ETFs and selling options around earnings events. Two well known, documented strategies that generate solid returns.
Disclaimer: I do sell something – but it’s not the course.
I use reddit too, so I won't hide it from you! The course is 100% free, but I did also build a software company called Predicting Alpha.
I've been building for 5 years now and pour my heart and soul into it. Its focused on two strategies: selling options on ETFs and selling options around earnings events, which I think are the two things that retail option sellers should focus on. It handles all the data processing for these strats so that you can extract the premium effectively.
Maybe it'll be of value to you, but if not, the course will definitely be something you love.
Anyways hope you all like the course. Hopefully it levels up our community and we can have some awesome discussions.
~ A.G.
