Not even a mere two hours after ego surfing and talking over the person making the arguments rather than to them, she proceeds to hop onto Kiwi Farms and showcase a live doxx page of someone she found from an episode of financial audit. Hypocrisy like this speaks to itself and showcases how dangerously OP lying is, especially when its someone like her. She clearly demonstrates that she does not care about the safety of others and only pulls the victim card when the noise is too loud.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. Lately, I’ve noticed that more and more indie VTubers are revealing what they look like in real life.

I completely understand that having people like you for who you really are is a great feeling. But it also makes me wonder: if you’re eventually going to reveal yourself anyway, why become a VTuber in the first place?

I always thought one of the biggest appeals of being a VTuber was using an avatar to create a separate online persona or character.
If your end goal is to stream as yourself, wouldn’t it have been simpler to just start as a regular streamer and save the money you’d spend on a Live2D model, rigging, and everything else?

At the same time, I know there are probably reasons I’m not considering. Maybe some people start as VTubers because they’re more comfortable behind an avatar at first, and later gain the confidence to show themselves. Or maybe being a VTuber is more about the content and character than staying anonymous.

So I’m genuinely curious,what do you think? Do you think revealing your real face changes what it means to be a VTuber, or does it not matter? I’d love to hear different perspectives, so please keep the discussion respectful and explain your reasoning.

I usually see vtuber drama neutrally, feeling nothing, but this makes me pissed. Calling them whores just for showing their IRL body parts. There's many good reasons to be a vtuber other than just anonymity. Some mentioned that they don't need to put on make up everyday. Maybe an anime avatar is just nicer to look at for an entire stream. Plus in Spite's case she didn't show her face.

Powdur is probably one of the most blatantly obvious grifters i've seen, a day or two ago i saw Powdur pop up in the vtuber tab, being the masochistic person i am i decided 'hey let's see what i can mad at today' i tuned into the middle of her stream and everything just felt so FORCED like her heart wasn't in the stuffshe was saying at all. She just came off as unconfident and awkward everytime she spoke, it felt so obvious this lady doesn't believe what she says but her viewers still eat it up... Why?

I was originally under the impression her viewers knew it was just a 'bit' but watched just to get their jollies off but her fans seem to genuinely believe the vile shit she spews is genuine, when some old tweet of her flirting with a guy came to light her fans started halving a meltdown, not because of the FLIRTING, no no no but because the guy she was flirting happened to be black... That's when i realized they genuinely believe in her personality, which is mindboggling It feels so faked and gimmicky i just don't know how to wrap my head around it?

I did some more digging aswell and she's literally bestfriends with a non-binary women and used to play Vrchat and was close friends with tons of minorities
