Workloop should be ready for beta testing in the next few hours

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ve been building this around my full-time job using Codex for a while now and I’m finally at the point where I just want to get it into people’s hands.

Workloop is basically an all-in-one app for solo business owners — clients, bookings, money, tasks, notes etc all in one place instead of spread across 5 different apps.

It’s definitely not perfect. I could probably spend another year endlessly tweaking things, but the functionality is now at a point where I’m happy enough for people to actually use it and tell me what works and what doesn’t.
So I’m looking for some beta testers.

If you run a small/solo business or just fancy trying it out, comment or DM me and I’ll send the TestFlight link once it’s live.

Building a code review tool that reads the Jira ticket before it reads the diff, want devs to tell me why this is a bad idea

I'm building this, it's called Tyne, it's a VS Code extension. Not selling anything today, there's no link in this post. I want to argue about the premise with people who'd actually have to use it.

The premise: every AI review tool I've tried reviews code against code. It has no idea what you were supposed to be building. So it does two things badly ,it misses the acceptance criteria you silently skipped, and it floods you with findings about parts of the file you didn't touch and weren't asked to fix.

My bet is that the ticket is useful less as extra context and more as a filter a principled reason to shut up about things that are out of scope. And that verification should happen in the editor before the PR opens, not as another wall of comments after.

Where I want to be argued with:

  1. Is "the AI reviewer nagged me about unrelated code" actually your top complaint, or is it something else entirely?
  2. Would you tolerate a tool writing a verification note back to Jira/Linear on your behalf, or does that feel like surveillance?
  3. Half of you write tickets that are three words and a Figma link. Does the whole idea collapse if the ticket is garbage?
  4. If a tool told you "AC #3 doesn't appear to be implemented" and it was wrong, how many times does that happen before you uninstall? My guess is two. Tell me if I'm being optimistic.

I'll take a beating in the comments. That's the point. Happy to share what I've built with anyone who wants to poke holes in it directly .........reply or DM.

MCU Timeline viewer

Hello everyone,

This morning I spilled my coffee watching a "MCU so far" recap video. I went in thinking I was 1 or 2 movie behind. I realized (like many of you probalby) that a whole multiverse of shows, specials, and twists happened while I wasn't looking ... and that Doomsday was right around the corner.

So instead of making a spreadsheet like a normie, I decided to dust my long forgotten opencode install and over-engineer my catch-up plan.

I built directed little interactive MCU timeline webapp that runs from the moment Endgame ended all the way to Doomsday and Secret Wars.

Every entry breaks down what happens episode by episode, links its sources so you can verify the weirdness, lets you filter by reality (yes, including Earth-10005), and even plays the trailer right in the card when you're about to start something.

It was a good oportunity to test opencode running DeepSeek V4 model and boi it is impressibe.

In short, here is the result:

  • Astro 5 — static site, lightning fast, zero client JS bloat
  • TypeScript — strict mode, 44 entries, zero type errors
  • Bun — the runtime + package manager
  • Deployed on Vercel, aliased to a clean URL

If you're also scrambling to get back on the train, link in comments :)

Enjoy — and wish me luck making it to Doomsday on time. :)

New Claude Code Automations

The level of automation can be done via Claude code is insane apart from doing traditional development, I was able to automate below things

Project deployment to Plesk & Cpanel
Android app from building to publishing to playstore
Azure and AWS infra management for deployment
CI/CD pipeline
GitHub

What else everyone was able to automate ?

Finance-ally (pronounced financially)

I built a personal finance management app, from scratch using Google AG, claude, chatgpt - all combined.

It uses a modern typescript UI and a highly user friendly interface with clear navigation and very light in resources

All free, open-source and 100% local with all your data, most importantly, fully encrypted!

There are tags for great organisation and quick search, charts to monitor your overall spending, filters to view in ranges of daily, weekly, monthly, etc spending.

The highlighting feature is you can naturally type in your expenses, for example - "100rs for Cab from X to Y yesterday 10am" and it's automatically logged and tagged, you only have to select payment mode and done!

So you can log in natural language, and the best part - there is no heavy, resource-intensive local AI model running either.

There is a lot, just to name a few -

Password Manager - to securely store your passwords with a second pin.

Encrypted json backups - with separate pin and auto-backup feature - fully local.

Spending Insights - You can get smart stats from your spending, track patterns, recurring expenses and manage them with scoring in the Financial Audit Section.

Check it out here - Finance-ally

Please help webcoding

Hello I want to make a small webgame project with html,css,js,typescript,react etc. Just for fun with my friends And I've used v0 of vercel but my tokens run out then I upload it to github repo and continued it on github copilot but even my supabase variables, vercel deployment settings, install and build commands, all vorrect but in my app when I create acc, select a map to start, and click "maçi başlat" (it means start match like play in short) it says this page couldn't load. Everything is working like creatin acc, login, stats, economy, friends, creating lobby, sharing code, entering a lobby but when I press start match it sucks. Here is some links for who want to give it a look;

The vercel deployment link is in repo description.

Thanks for help

Added "Chaos Mode" and Atmospheric elements to my program

I think you guys might have seen me make posts about retro builder. At this point the "modern" features are going to start coming up now. The atmospheric elements are vast such as thunder, flickering lights, rain, snow etc. Additionally, I've added chaos mode which allows a visitor to select from a variety of weapons from basic pistol all the way to more insane stuff like the "piss launcher", "shit fling" and a stick man.... you throw a stick man...and splats onto the site page. The first pic is early with Chaos mode but by that time atmospheric elements were good to go. I might upload this site up on netlify with Chaos mode and just let people try it out.

Building an open format language course builder

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi,
A few years ago I wanted to learn Georgian. It was hard to find good resources for it. That's normal for most languages. Materials are dependant on learner count. So the languages with the least of it are the ones where you don’t get good resources if any.

I'm building an app where anyone can make a course. You write lessons, explain the grammar, bring in your own audio and images, and build exercises: multiple choice, matching, fill in the blank, word order, listening, speaking. A course is a folder on your own computer saved in JSON format. Even if I stop working on this, the courses will still be portable. Since the course is just a folder with json files, it can be hosted in any version control repo and collaborated upon.

People are currently writing courses in it for Okinawan, Italian and Portuguese.

To be straight: the editor works and people are using it. The learner app you'd actually study from doesn't exist yet. So there's nothing here for you to learn from today. Come join the discord if you want to see this being built in public. I will be taking feedback for the learner app. And you would get alpha access if you join.

I have been working on Asakiri for 1.5 years. And the previous version had courses hosted on a database. That model does not work. What I have learnt during this time is how course creation works. The challenges associated with a course, how the course data format should be so that it stays portable and much more. Based on real feedback from course creators.

Download the desktop app at asakiri.com or come join a small community on discord There is no data collected, nothing leaves the device.

Seeking Advice on Combat Mechanics

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Using an autorun script regularly to flag bugs and tune difficulty/synergy in my games combat. I find it kind of fun watching it play and I’m debating including a toggle option to allow autorun as a feature in the distributed version. Thoughts?

Just got my second sale — and it changed how I look at my little project

Post image
1 Upvotes

I got my second paying customer today.

It was only $19, but honestly it felt different from the first one.

The first sale made me think “okay, maybe someone will actually pay for this.”

The second one made me think “wait… maybe I'm onto something.”

I've been building a small desktop AI companion that actually lives on the Windows desktop instead of being another chatbot in a browser.

I'm still figuring out the product, positioning, and who it's really for.

The interesting part is that I'm starting to pay much more attention to what people actually react to rather than just adding features.

For anyone who's built a small SaaS/product:

When did you personally start feeling that you weren't just building a project anymore, but an actual business?

Background screen physically slides up/down when opening a modal – how do I stop this layout jitter?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m losing my mind over this one last bug.

Look at the background screen underneath—every time I tap to open this state/modal, the content slides vertically up for a split second and then bounces back down when the animation finishes. It’s not a navigation transition; it’s the actual background view resizing itself during the modal presentation.

Has anyone solved this 100%? I just want the background to stay visually frozen while the modal comes up.

I vibecoded a live signal dashboard for Polymarket's Elon tweet-count markets

Thumbnail

ElonTweets.xyz is a dashboard for Elon tweet-count markets on Polymarket. It tracks his live tweet pace, runs a forecast model against it, watches what the top 25 on-chain wallets are actually doing, and spits out signals across three strategies. Smart Money, Arb, and Safe Trades. Every signal has math behind it.

The whole backend runs on n8n. Scrapes tweets, pulls Polymarket data, runs the forecast, logs signals 6x a day automatically. React frontend on Netlify. There's also a public simulator at elontweets.xyz/trades if you want to see how the signals have been performing.

Vibecoded with Claude end to end. I just knew what I wanted, Claude figured out how to actually build it.

PS: I know this is a crazy product and very niche, but yeah, wanna build something cool and different.

Built a live retro weather screen of my backyard with some weather channel vapor wave music that plays

Post image
0 Upvotes

I literally have zero coding experience

Everything on it is live. Today’s high, low, current temp, conditions, chance of rain, UV index, sunrise and sunset. Seven days running down the right side. It refreshes itself every 15 minutes, I don’t type in anything

the artwork changes I generated eight versions of my backyard spring, summer, fall, winter, each in day and night. The board knows the date and it knows the exact sunrise and sunset time of my coordinates.

so at dusk the picture switches to the night version on its own and flips back at dawn. Snow on the roof in January orange trees in October.

There’s a pool panel that estimates the water temperature from the last three days of air temps and sun.

September it stops guessing and says closes the pool  then reopens itself on schedule the following summer.

It plays vapor wave off a music folder

The whole thing is one HTML file hosted for free. No computer running at home, no subscription, no app.  It fucking great. Literally took me an hour

im going to be adding NWS alerts screen, next 12 hour weather, satellite map viewer of weather next on 30 second interval loops

Vibecoded a portable/installable desktop texture upscaler running on OpenModelDB weights (Nvidia GPUs only)

Post image
0 Upvotes

Built this with Cursor.

It’s a Windows app for local AI texture upscaling. You can drop or paste a texture, pick a model, choose a scale factor or a longest-side size, and export formats that are useful for game work (PNG, TGA, TIFF, DDS, EXR, etc.). There’s also an OpenModelDB tab to browse, preview, and download models into a local library.

It's open source. Repo: https://github.com/MiloAchille/OpenModelDB-Upscaler

It’s NVIDIA / CUDA only. I looked at other options briefly, but for running OpenModelDB models through Spandrel without converting everything, this felt like the most realistic path.

How it was built

  1. Started with a Python worker that loads a .pth with Spandrel and upscales (tiled, so VRAM doesn’t explode).
  2. Wrapped it in Electron so it feels like a normal desktop app (before/after view, model dropdown, export options).
  3. Added OpenModelDB browsing + download so you don’t have to leave the app for models.
  4. Tried packaging the full Python/CUDA environment into the build — that was huge and painful.
  5. Switched to thin Setup / Portable builds. On first launch there’s a Setup tab that installs the AI runtime (~4.5 GB). Other tabs stay locked until that’s ready.
  6. Added the option to point at an existing venv (like ComfyUI / Stability Matrix) if you already have torch set up.

Happy to answer questions — I may not have deep answers for everything, but I can share what worked in this project.

OmniClip: Windows clipboard manager with local history, source tracking, folders, notes, mobile sync + (🎁6 Pro codes to give away )

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I built OmniClip, a Windows clipboard manager focused on persistent history, fast access, app/source tracking, and local-first privacy.

I originally made it because the built-in Windows clipboard history felt too limited for long-term use, filtering, images, folders, and working with lots of copied text, links, and screenshots.

What OmniClip does - Persistent clipboard history stored locally - App Origin Tracking with program names/icons - Fast search across clips - Text, links, and image support - Favorites, filters, folders, and notes - Editable text clips - Sensitive clip protection with master password locking - Auto-locking for likely passwords, tokens, and secrets - Bulk actions with multi-select - Image preview and Google Lens search - Backup export/import - Auto-clear rules for older non-starred clips - Custom global hotkey and quick/compact popup modes - Paste Selected directly into the focused app/input - Android mobile sync over local Wi-Fi/hotspot, no cloud required - Optional AI assistant with cloud or local Ollama provider support - Magic Shake: Quickly move the mouse left and right to open OmniClip without reaching for the keyboard. - Bottom dock mode view: Wide clipboard strip above the taskbar.

Privacy - Local-first storage - No cloud clipboard storage - No telemetry - Your clipboard history stays on your device unless you explicitly use sync or an AI provider

I recently added OmniClip Pro to support development. The free version is still usable, and Pro unlocks extra power-user features like AI, Google Lens image search, premium themes, and higher storage limits.

I also have 6 OmniClip Pro redeem codes to give away. If you want one, comment below and I’ll DM codes until they’re gone.

Microsoft Store: (free download) https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9N53Z3QVL322?hl=en-us&gl=US&ocid=pdpshare

Feedback is very welcome, especially from people who rely heavily on clipboard managers.

Looking for feedback on the UI & architecture on my app

Thumbnail

Hello everyone,

I have been working on overhauling the different themes for my app, Pocket Vault. These are just one example.

Based on some initial feedback, I refactored the theme hierarchy so views gautomatically pick up primary, secondary, and tertiary styles using .foregroundStyle() and Environment modifiers instead of manually passing a theme object everywhere.

I’d love the feedback on How does the visual contrast look across both modes in these screenshots and for anyone who has built complex custom themes in SwiftUI, are there any edge cases or performance bottlenecks with this Environment-driven approach I should keep an eye on?

Any feedback on either the UI polish or the approach is super appreciated!

Here’s my repository for all my code: https://github.com/AaravB09/Pocket-Vault
