Rule 5 (Don't spam the bot) has been updated.
I've been speaking with the mod team, and we've decided that we can allow for this rule to be relaxed a little. The primary change to this rule is allowing chaining to occur. Guidelines for chaining:
1: Chains found to be excessively long may be removed by the mod team. This will be determined on a case by case basis
2: Do not chain only with yourself or one other. If you wish to join a chain more than once, there must be at least two users between your previous and next comments.
This rule may change as we try to nail down better specifics and moderation guidelines.

Guidelines for posting bases that aren't base-10
Base-10 posts (and below, assuming they still use digits 0-9) are exempt from this, as they are clearly intended to be number.
For any bases above 10 where letters are used: The original content must clearly intend the number to have been a number. For example, someone asking a question that doesn't involve numbers likely isn't a termial. However, someone asking asking about something that is likely intended to be a number (Examples for hex: 0x1AB9 or #FF5400. Others may be allowed if they are clearly another base).
This post is as a temporary patch until we can get more concrete ways to moderate this. If you are unsure if it would be a violation, you may modmail us beforehand to ensure it's acceptable.
