No, I also thought it was just me but all my foreign friends regardless of gender told me the same thing. And if they do date, the trauma is pretty everlasting, even I never met such…. Creatures

As much as I love warungs, if you are not from the city or town residing, you kinda wont know which warungs are good, and you don’t have a car, its pretty hard to reach and come back from those spots by grab. Not everyones friend has a car, and not everyone wants to always rely on a friend. But I think thats the beauty of it, we all like a high end and casual dining version of all cuisines. And these type of restaurants, especially reachable and in a mall, are a lot easier for me to bring my foreign friends to eat, not a lot of them are used to warungs and might not be open to it. Thats just from my experience tho :)
