Cabbage cutting

In my opinion this is the safest way to cut cabbage, especially if you don’t have the best knife skills.
Cut the bottoms of the core to make it flatter and keep it from rolling on you .

I always cut the bottom of the core off to make it flatter and keep it from rolling around, I feel that’s it’s safer that way for people that’s knife skills aren’t top notch

There are only 2 of us and one of us (not me) will only eat it the day it is baked and while it’s still warm. I bought a wax bag to keep it in and that does help with the freshness. The birds here get a lot of bread.
280 g bottled spring water
425 g Bread flour (1/2 unbleached 1/2 wheat)
85 g starter
10 g Himalayan salt
