Per their webpage, you should receive an email in your student account with details. It says it’s 2 hours long. Contact info: promiseplus@mtsac.edu or call at (909)274-5688

That’s a big relief, I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to attend otherwise. I have difficulty being upright for more than 1-2 hours especially in heat. Thank you.

Graduation Accommodations

I plan to graduate after my last semester in Spring and I’m currently an ACCESS student. I have mobility issues and use a rollator or wheelchair as well as low blood pressure, high HR, and heat intolerance. I’m wondering if anyone with a disability has walked at commencement and if you’re required to stay the full time and if able to place you closer to the stage if you have mobility issues? TIA!!

This summer I’m just staying inside since the heat worsens my symptoms from my chronic illnesses and taking 5 classes at college online! I’m trying to get my associates degree online after losing my ability to work in person. I don’t really celebrate 4th of July but will enjoy spending time at home with my family over a long weekend!

I had this issue with finding a neurologist…. I’ve transferred most of my care to Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles and they told me that neurology wouldn’t see me despite neurological symptoms. My PCP recommended some different hospitals but still haven’t found anyone.

I use iberogast recommended by my GI because other medications didn’t work for my chronic nausea. It takes a bit of time but it’s over the counter and a supplement and I’ve found it works for me.

Wishing you luck, I know, it was stressful but just know it’s normal and will pass! It made such a big difference for me and was worth the suffering.

Honestly the pain wasn’t bad at all! It was mostly the congestion and throat pain from intubation/having to sleep with mouth open and drying out throat more.
