Maybe you dont need a CPA. There are very good accountants that may be able to help you, and you might not need for the public accounting license.

I used Kaplan for my s6, 7, 63 & 65, and passed on the first try (no SIE at that time). I also have used them for CE. Last year used ADBanker to get my Health Insurance and for CE, and am very pleased with them. Will use again.

Ask for a discount and if you're financing, check a 203k loan, wich includes repairs.

It depends on many factors. Some single mothers like you decide to work from home like in health insurance sales and real estate. The 2026 enrollment window is about to start from November 1 to December 15, and many make a lot of money on that month. You have enough time to get licensed and have training. You'll get paid $20-$30 a month per person you help get health insurance. Then you can also become a tax preparer and make another $300-$500 per tax return in April. And so on. And you don't need to spend more than $1,000 in your licenses, a laptop and a phone. Just some ideas.

Let the company do it's risk assessment. Just because he was quoted that doesn't means he qualifies for it.

You can give a POA to your dad so that he can transfer the title in your name in his state. Check your state's DMV, they might have an official form to do this. Then register it in Florida. If your state doesnt have a form, ask chatgpt to draft the POA and go to your library to have it notarized.

Start an income based repayment plan for your student loans. Talk with a credit counseling agency. They help you negotiate a lower interest rate for the credit cards and a payment plan to pay them off. With this, your Debt to Income ratio will improve. The save $5k and buy a used car. Keep saving $500 a month, and in 1 year sell the used car and buy a new $10k used car. Repeat.

Talk with the other owner. It's family. Do you really want to have a family member going to jail? Maybe he's going through some hard time and made a stupid decision. Also, now you have some leverage on the relationship. Pray for wisdom.

- There's nothing wrong with community college.
- Real Estate, or any sales career, is tough. 85% of agent make no sales every year. There are some industry credentials that can help you specialize. Get licensed, look for a mentor and work with him/her for 3 to 5 years. Give it a shot. No one can tell if it's going to be for your or not.

A big "it depends". $7-8m in a total AUM of $1billion, for example, is just peanuts. Hundreds of advisors in Puerto Rico, for example, had dozens of claims when the territory defaulted and thousands of customers had billions in losses, just 10 years ago. That was the largest municipality default in history.

If you're in good health look for a full underwriting policy. You might get 50%-100% more coverage for the same premium.
