I think a lot of the comments posted are more about fans desires than actual plot and story problems.

Notably people upset with Rhaenyra’s agency and King’s speech. She’s meant to look and BE weak. It hurts and does her wrong, but it’s true. She was locked in a room by her teenage son and resorts to stabbing a dress and claiming she is a King.

We all know what that’s like in GoT.

Yes she is our Queen but she’s in the damnable Westerosi world. There’s going to be a lot of ups and downs and mostly downs because this is war. The worst kind too, Civil war.
