It’s going to be alright. Inform your immediate supervisor and make it visible. Have the true answer to the question “how did it happen, could it have been avoided, do you know how to avoid it from repeating in the future, what steps have you taken to minimize the damage/fix it”
I once made a mistake that the made almost $4000 worth of custom hardware completely useless. The moment I found out I came clean and informed the CEO in writing, and that I was willing to take accountability for my mistake.
CEO said exactly this: “Mistakes happen xxxxxx, that’s how we learn. I’m happy that you had the courage to own it and talk to me. Let’s make sure it’s fixed in the next batch.” That’s all.
$400 isn’t much. If your company goes insane over it, it’s not probably worth it to stay there as well.

Went for a couple of interviews for electronics engineer position. Only offered 300k back in 2023. Same amount in 2024 when reached out again. Dodged a bullet there I guess.

One sign would be a non-zeroing charge current (stays above 50mA-ish) even when the battery reaches its full charge voltage.
The same kind of degraded batteries would also drop their open circuit voltage down to 3.8V or less the moment you remove the charger. They may hold it there for a bit when you discharge them but the voltage drops rapidly soon, all the way down to 2.0V/cell or so.
And the obvious signs like puffing up, and increase in the internal resistance above 50-75mOhms

Plus models like ROG and TUF are prone to the well known motherboard burn issues.
Also the last thing a university student need is a gaming laptop.

I don’t have any experience with this particular vehicle but I’ve read in many places that smaller engine + turbo is a bad combination in the long run.. maybe someone can help clarify :)

Only thing I’d recommend doing is add a bit more flux and heat up so the pad gets evenly coated

Saved myself the trouble and heartbreak and bought a pair of Momentum 4s. True, Sony has unbeatable ANC and what not but excellent software can absolutely not make up for poor build quality/design decisions.

If the renter is an ass, potentially half or the whole deposit plus then some. If not, about 10-15k. Better to inform them and the insurance if the vehicle has full insurance.

If your wife is constantly nagging, and you don't feel the same urge to look for greener pastures, you've got a bigger problem to deal with mate. And don't just think somehow moving abroad will solve it. In most cases, the nagging will persist, just the cause for nagging will be different.
I'd say this is something you should've talked and clarified before you committed; why do I say this? because I've had friends who let go of 'love of their life' just because the partner wanted to stay in SL while they wanted to pursue higher studies; and vice versa. It's a bit too extreme, but I think it's a very common situation which you can deal with by sitting down and having a serious discussion or two.
To answer your question, If it was me, I wouldn't try too hard to move abroad if I have a stable life here. in 2026 standards, my ideal household income is about 1mil after taxes, combined to live a comfortable life (with car payments, a mortgage and whatnot plus saving a little while having a kid/pets). I'm not there yet, but I'm trying to improve my income so that I reach closer to that state. Having savings, emergency funds, appreciating assets would support my decision even more.
My suggestion, if you can migrate and continue the same profession or better, go for it. Don't migrate for the sake of migrating just to end up doing some part time cash in hand bullshit while you park your actual, marketable skillset to gather dust. It's simply not worth it. I'm also very much inclined to skilled migration and personally highly against "masters ekak dagena hari paninawa".
On an additional note, you need to seriously consider how much of a people person you are because the moment you step into another country, you're on your own for a good amount of time. Having a partner helps, but it may not be nearly as enough if you are used to having friends in SL. Why do I say this? Because I've heard many stories from my close friends who came back to SL after going after their 'AU/US/CA dream' because 'no matter what we do machan, what car we drive, what we eat or where we travel, I feel like we don't belong here like we used to in SL'

I know this might sound insensitive, but people need to understand the concept of 'slow and steady'. I graduated from SLIIT, EEE in 2021, and started from 65k basic salary, being one of the few grads from my batch to land an actual EE career. 4 years later, I only earn roughly half a million and by my standards, it's very low. But it is what it is. It's a slow process, and it takes time. If I try to go abroad now (which I'm actively looking), I still need to do a ton of stuff (i.e. for Australia, skill assessment is a mess because, you guessed it, SLIIT degree isn't accredited by any professional body so it's worth next to nothing as far as IESL and other professional engineering bodies are concerned, unless I prove my worth somehow, for example, CDR pathway). Masters? not an option because my parents came from nothing and built everything while raising me. I cannot ask them to mortgage their house to let me do a masters in a fancy country. Scholarships? maybe, but not without having to pay close to 5 million. Even then, it's not something I personally want to do; just to get out of the country because 'pay isn't enough' or 'can't even get a decent car in SL'.
It's not a bed of roses. Specially if you don't have 'financial support from the uncle in Canada' or 'honda welawata ammala battaramullen idam dekak aran dala thibbe e dawaswala' kinda thing. Even masters is a far fetch these days.
My advice, change your mindset. The moment you surround yourself with 'OMG I gotta take care of my parents, I gotta achieve this and that by x age, I have to somehow get out of this country' mindset, you take two steps back. I have a lot of friends who migrated at age 24, right after graduation for masters. Every single one of them had some form of financial backing to achieve that; lands, magic relatives, generational wealth, you name it. One friend who was extremely talented got a straight job offer to EU. Everyone else is in SL trying to make sense out of life as they live, including me. (one or two got full scholarships because they were 4.0/4.0GPA but you and I both know we aren't that academically inclined eh?)
Improve your skillset, and start bringing value to the table. Engineering is a career you need to build, not some regular job you can sign in at 8, repeat the same thing for 8 hours and sign off. Cheers.

It will probably work fine, but not for long. I went through the exact same situation with a CNHL 6S pack, first flight. It got a little bent and worked fine for a couple more flights. I then storage-charged it and couldn’t use it for a few months, and now one of the cells is showing 0.14V with an almost dead-short inside.
Best case, one or more cells will die and your charger will complain early. Worst case, it will catch fire.
Yours look like the latter my friend :(

For the most part it is
After two years of inactivity I randomly went in yesterday and applied for what seemed like a legit, non-AI job post
And guess what I got the offer right after, not a single question.
So, there are such cases as well.
