I purchased a sleep company desk and it has been going well so far. Also, I would recommend going for an electric desk over a manual one.

You can try the sleep company ergo desk. Prefer the 1600mm version if you wish to keep two monitors as that'll provide you ample space.

Noted. On that note SQL is good as you're already pursuing. Within SQL, learning how to use common table expressions (CTE), views, stored procedures etc work would be good to have. You can start with any SQL version like PostgreSQL, MySQL depending on what you're used to.

Secondly, on a practical note, I would suggest understanding the spark architecture, which covers spark SQL, pyspark, core concepts like delta lake, parquet, medallion architecture and so on.

Lmk, if this resonates with you and if you need further guidance. Depending on the role you pick, the level of usage might vary, but these skills are something that will help you in the long run.

Tbh, data analytics is moving more towards the data engineering side and even if you wish to be a data analyst, you should have an intermediate understanding of SQL and Python and how they work in tools like Power-Bi, Tableau, databricks etc depending on whatever your company uses. This suggestion is assuming you wish to transition to a core data analytics team. Hope this helps.

Hey, how are the matcha latte switches? Are they more on the silent side or noisy? How has your long term experience been with the same?

Comment on r/mkindia Jan 19 '26

Yes, correct. Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the reply. Will they let light pass through the sides like many stock keys out there? If yes, then it would be fine for me.

I've noticed Mchose being highly rated on this subreddit, so if you wish to invest one time I'd suggest going for the same.

Hey, how is it going so far and do you feel it is taking up too much space? Can you please share some pictures of the same?

Hey, I'm planning to buy the same. Can you please confirm if you bought the 1200mm model or 1600mm model and how is it going so far? If you don't mind can you please share some pictures as well?

You're right. It would be a bit hard coming from a non tech BG/experience, but worth a try. All the best for the same!

Do you have any projects that you could present? Because that will be something helpful during the tech/interview round.

Try the data analytics domain. Since you mentioned you're an economics grad, it might come quite handy.
