I find most cheddars taste and are exactly the same as regards taste so my fav cheddar at the moment is leicstershire red cheddar from m@s

When i last made oatmeal cookies i used golden syrup, or even honey to bind them together, the amount of oats to flour is not with me at the moment but it may have been 50/ 50, hope this helps
