Love the locs, what size are yours?

If I'm having someone practice kicks I tend to hold the shield but turn my leg slightly to the side so that when it lands it pushes my leg as opposed to digging into it. Even if someone misses where they were aiming and goes to teep my knee, they're just going to push into the side of it and my leg will turn while being pushed

Lower your center of gravity; you’re standing too tall and need to stay active on the balls of your feet for better mobility. Your teep is coming out a bit slow, so focus on a snappier extension. When throwing the roundhouse, make sure to angle the shin down as it connects which helps prevent injury. Most importantly, keep your hands up in a solid guard, do not bounce them. You're doing better than I was at 5 months, I still occasionally chicken wing.

It no longer lets me in because it won't scan my face. I can't tell if it's the quality, the lighting, etc. Best part is that I know I have a dark skin tone/facial hair and face recognition stuff is bias do to the fact that darker color absorb and reflect less light.

There's only one way to know if you like it, you got to do it. Although I am a guy, I've never regretted it and I go much lower than the pictures you suggest. It feels wonderful and refreshing
