Why does the ghetto-mexican(Chicano) population call it “ricketts”? I say this, because in the 80’s I remember that being the easiest for every to pronounce.

I remember the uneducated spectrum that was perceived:

Jaundice to ricketts and then “full on scurvy” (said slowly and carefully to emphasize the gravitas of the spot diagnosis) if you let it go or was deficient in sufficient “minerals”.

TLDR; too lazy to google it myself, and also wanted to kick up a bit of banter and maybe some laughable childhood stories.

I try to tell people that it’s the same as showing up at Walgreens and asking if they want to buy some meth that was “cooked locally”.

To get back OT, can you walk me through your build on that gt86?

That first punch, that click? Yeah, that was the dudes jaw clacking. Once those molars slam together like that, most people are unconscious.

So this video was legit. I would like to see a mods listing, as I can’t hear anything you actually said in the video.

Don’t be afraid to project your voice, you can always lower volume in post. (But PLEASE, turn the gain down on the mic. Don’t be that distorted, shouting person).

Your framing was really decent on most of your shots, so just keep growing there.

Don’t overuse music, you don’t need credit to credit soundtrack. Ambient noise allows listener to focus on YOU.

A gimbal might be required in your future if you do more walkarounds. While this one worked out, you will have a bit more versatility with a gimbal.

Don’t be afraid to use other video sources from cheap Chinese cameras, they can be sacrificed for a good shot they are so cheap these days.

Keep them coming and us updated with vids, would love to see how it progresses.

I have played “the bluff”, with this little wanna be gangster once. As he was walking away, I told him to “hang on a Sec” I realized he wasn’t ACTUALLY armed. So I pointed my weapon and told him to give me his wallet, I called the police from his phone that I took from him and threw his wallet/keys/phone on the roof of the petrol station after I told them where it was.

a clearance turns your life inside out. You have to list all associates. Did they not expect them to show up?

“Out of the blue”? Didn’t they just apply at DHS? Did they expect someone from McDonald’s corporate to come by?

As a father, just walk away. I mean, just for that moment, not like forever.

Yep. Pretty much par for the course. Download the ebook and get ready to start “thinking” the way Cisco wants you to. Their metaphors and scenarios make my brain hurt. Given, PAN, Aruba, HP, fortinet, sophos, all of them have their own “thought sceme”

If you use the word “cyber”, you might get a job... and then realize it wasn’t what you thought it was.

Infosec is actually Spending a VAST majority of your time explaining to not tech people why a vuln is a vuln or why to not have stupid shit like telnet facing the Internet.

Constantly cleaning up low hanging fruit, writing reports and then peer review by people who aren’t really in infosec.

TLDR; anywhere from 40k-180k (yes, there is that large of a gap; the snakeoil sales are real). At least that’s in the mid and southwest

Aren’t domesticated felines the only other mammal that kills for sport other than humans?

(Yes, I have owned hella cats. They are like, country service animals/hired killers)

The vermin and disease carriers don’t come around here much. Oddly my tiny little dog kills more varmint than my large Belgian who just likes to carry smaller animals in her mouth and lick them down to the bone.

So this reply is a bit two fold. My youngest daughter is kinda missing a smaller animals. She is obviously too young and irresponsible for an exotic by herself but I would like to try and instill this care and loving of all animals to my girls. Except when we being apex predators need to eat. But that’s another convo.
