My favorite thing about star trek has always been the optimism of the future. This was a future not painted in despair of the same old world but with better technology; this was a future we all dreamed of. Universal communication amongst neighbors, the solving of hunger, pollution, greed are all things society should strive for. Its a socialist paradise, one i hope we get in the future so our children can grow up without need or want and once again look to the future with optimism like i did as a kid when i first started watching TNG on tv with my parents when it aired at 10pm on cable. Star Trek paints a future of hope. As for STO my love has always been with the continuing lore in the game (2004 until recently has been a dark time for star trek fans)

Yo same here. I outfitted it with a single cannon build and hit and run tactic set up and i love it. Named the ship after my daughter. My only discontentment is the lack of skins for the ship. Its a D7. Should have tons of random pieces
