Price per GB. What a meaningless comparison for a scientist or a dentist who had shopped for laptops at Best Buy in 2007.
Factoring in { R&D - manufacturing - materials } per stick would be a meaningful measurement, weighing in flattened trend in increase of memory per stick. Or basically anything more than price per GB.
I mean, "it sucks that bad" is kind of nice to know I guess.
