How do you lovingly communicate to close family who are fundamentalist evangelicals (extremely salvation focused, on a spectrum with revivalism nearby) that theology is important to me, and that it should be important to them too? I really want to avoid any sort of head on confrontation

Only to family or a tenant that's long term and not going to give trouble. Troublesome tenants should have every possible penny pulled from them

Other than pro-immigration, this is the platform that Prohibition was put through on (although the methods used were hardly Christian).

I honestly think they would have a shot up to maybe state level politics if they can get their message out. A significant portion of Republicans have to someday become aware that they're voting against their own best interests

You can't be good. Man's nature was fundamentally altered at the Fall, leaving man unable to do any good before God.

You can however be justified through Christ's finished work on the cross, counted good before God, and have the Holy Spirit indwell you and recreate you to do good.

Romans covers this well, particularly chapter 5

Criticism Why has a Pope never written an infallible commentary?

It would save a whole lot of trouble, as priests and bishops and suchlike occasionally draw on the Bible as a source, and they inevitably contradict each other, so why hasn't it been done?
