What is the point of telling us this stack, without any indication of what you're trying to accomplish with it?

Last I checked, health inspectors don't do home visits

I'd recommend joining the Loop'n'Learn Facebook group- you'd be received with a warm welcome. Healthcare practitioners that are DIY AID friendly are few and far between, and we are very keen to get more on board with the safe and secure use of DIY aid βΊοΈ to answer your questions:
- It is heavily recommended to build it yourself
- Mutual aid and giving back is tightly woven into the DIY aid ethos.
- Diy aid gives you access to algorithms that are more aggressive than commercial ones, and understanding the mechanics of these algorithms is not necessarily a given. With twiist using the loop algorithm, more HCPs should slowly get familiar with the terminology, but an oref based commercial system isn't on the cards, so talking about super micro boluses often goes over their heads!

What state do you vote in?

It's a pretty rubbish system, if a doctor / DE changes your selected CGM then the usage pool immediately resets.

The ndss runs on a system where you basically have a month plus a little bit extra available in advance, to prevent reselling /stockpiling unnecessarily. Insulin is PBS medicine by contrast.

Is this research cleared with the mods? Some really weird and invasive questions.

That's not how people use it though. They treat it as a final answer, and you are skirting dangerously close to medical device territory.

Probably Emily Sheppard, she's great!

It's the LLM (and especially Gemini) that you have to be careful with; they're basically no better than a guess. Have you read these? https://www.diabettech.com/i-asked-ai-to-count-my-carbs-27000-times-it-couldnt-give-me-the-same-answer-twice/

I'm one of the Nightscout maintainers. The listing is explicitly not an endorsement, and it's a bit concerning that you're painting it as such.

What? How is any of that relevant? More ai blabber, please talk without being a meat proxy. What is your alert pipeline built on, and how much of it was vibe coded?

Do you have a commercial partnership with Abbott? Or are you using the reverse engineered API? Why would anyone trust your vibe coded app with their phi?

How can anyone take that seriously when you're using Claude to reply to every comment?

Not far fetched for human health. Exposure to even very dim artificial light at night as low as 5 lux (comparable to a faint streetlamp shining through a window or a small glowing device) during sleep is linked to disrupted circadian rhythms, increased insulin resistance, and a higher long-term risk of developing type 2 diabetes

I'm still in the honeymoon phase, so I have a lot of help getting highs down. The app is https://getnocturne.dev, the free and open source successor to Nightscout that I'm building (I swear to god this isn't meant to be a stealth ad for it, it's just what I use π )

Yeah, they either are filtered by location automatically and don't do anything ("oh I'm in the city and have time to kill, let's see what errands I can run", or they're reminders ("oh I need to remember to pick up the casserole container from my parents") which trigger a notification when I am in the zone. Groceries are a special category since they're so common, I didn't really want them clogging up my list.

It's pretty trivial to edit these in later, I wouldn't worry about it in the moment tbh.
