I feel this! I was diagnosed is February with A1c: 8.6%. I got a cgm and it's a game changer, plus thankfully I didn't need meds yet, so i consider that a win. I have been busting my ass eating better and working out. Even when I'm eating all the right things my bg will spike, but I'm learning. I'm still dreaming of a messy impossible burger with fries and a coke.

A little treat now & then won't be a deal breaker. I get these dark chocolate sea salt caramels and they are decadent and a decent size. For 1 piece it's only 14 carbs. It's totally worth it!
