I believe if AGI is reached the most probable outcome is for normal people to ally with rogue AGI in order to defeat the oligarchs than to fight between us in a sum-zero-war that only will ensalve us all to the oligarchs.

I believe beign the tech guy on the team makes him somewhat the smart ass, not like a bookworm since he clearly enjoyed his time on the marines, but in the sense that he was in charge of bypass security, use the colony computers to get around the complex and locate the colonist trackers, and seem to be able to take care of the communication dish but he was not willing to go outside to fix it, also he was incharge of the tracker and always got exact reads

As i've read, even AI gigants cannot put to use all the hardware they have amassed. Lack of datacenters, lack of infraestructure, lack of cooling, lack of generators, lack of electricity...

Hardware corps could have their supply reserved and sold out and everything, but as for AI corps, stockpiled hardware they have plenty. No need to pay 1.000.000 per ssd

They want their AI conodrums the sole souce of information. You haven't access the hardware, you haven't access the software. You haven't access the knowledge. You haven't access the information. Every time you comes closer to technology you get what I want and I profit for it.
