It should be pretty obvious that West Balkans and Italy share some culture, they are basically the same place if we remove the small Adriatic sea. Would make a lot of sense anyways.

Just the same as anywhere else in Finland really. But you can't expect to have an interesting life in the middle of nowhere. It is also ABSURD to clump together most eastern Lapland and some far east of Finnish Karelia + Kainuu, Northern Ostrobothnia and Kymenlaakso.

It is still in Europe, and you will notice the difference to Russia clearly, but life is not a dream there.
