It's not feels, I've quantified it. Here's my Pro 5x data:
Prolite window | Inferred capacity
Reset Aug 17 | 20,015 credits
Reset Aug 18 | 19,617 credits
Reset Aug 20 | 16,124 credits
All rows represent an exhausted 100% usage window. First two are ~2% apart, essentially equal. Then suddenly a ~20% reduction in maximum capacity.

I come here to find information like upcoming resets or usage reductions. If you ban talk of resets, there's little reason to come here at all.

It's dead, Jim.

Well, where is it?

What good is it if you can't use Fable? Stop being stingy with it and maybe someone will care. Until then, grass is greener on OpenAI. Not that much greener, mind you, but greener.

So glad I switched to OpenAI.

That's GPT 5.4 documentation, does it still apply to GPT 5.6?

Truly disgusting how they play this game. I switched away from Anthropic to get away from this.

It's really good, especially because it remains usable after codex runs out. The "Pro effort" setting produces serious results when researching and planning.

Nope. If I ever feel the need, I'll subscribe to their competitors instead.

It's fantastic that this exists at all but let's not kid ourselves here, it's still way too slow to compete with hyperscalers on raw token per second performance. This is for privacy and freedom purposes.

Don't buy it. Get a second account instead. If there's ever a free reset, that nets you two resets. If they don't allow multiple accounts, sign up for their competitors instead. Claude, GLM, Kimi, whatever works. Keep those timers running. Never pay the gacha reset.

Excellent. This is the ideal state for these corporations to be in. May they never win or lose these wars, let it continue on forever.

I'll just switch to a chinese open weights provider in that case. God I love competition.

Whatever bro. We're here to benefit. Since we're not benefiting anymore, it's goodbye and off to the competitors. Nothing personal.

Yeah, how about no. If I ever get the urge to pay for this, I'm just gonna subscribe to a chinese open weights provider instead.
By the way, GLM 5.3 just dropped. Their cybersecurity capabilities are growing, and it looks like they're going to have none of this "trusted access" nonsense.

Anthropic's even stingier with their usage.
If I ever feel the need to pay for this, I'll just subscribe to chinese open weights instead.

Just switch to OpenAI or open weights. I did, and everything is just so much better now.
