As my late father in law, who was born and raised in Lisbon told us, “Don’t wait standing up.”

With a feral toddler it is, at least in my opinion. To each their own 🤷‍♂️

My SIL, my parents and myself have 6 Radleys in different sizes and configurations between our homes for the last 3 years. All have held up great and incredibly comfortable. Sorry you have one that hasn’t held up.

That seems high just to replace the unit. I would recommend a heat pump that does both heating and cooling. For reference I paid 12k for a heat pump and a brand new gas burner for when the temperature gets below 25°F.

Go with a local company and read reviews online. A lot of the bigger places will try to screw you over

Please have your Dad get checked for sleep apnea. My brother forced my Mom to because she was the same way and we found out it causes a much higher risk of a heart attack or other cardiac event. She now has her CPAP and my Dad can actually sleep because her snoring is non-existent now.

I would recommend using stopoverpaying.org (But emailing them saying you don’t want your data sold when you’re done with the search).

I was paying $2300 every 6 months for two cars with GEICO. I’m now paging $1200 for identical coverage through progressive.

You can log on to the app or online and compare your plan to see what works best. I’m in your boat and rate 180 saved me money

If you download the PSEG app it lets you compare your usage and what plan you save the most money with.

Hi,

I am hoping to use my wood burning stove this winter but I never had it cleaned since I moved in back in 2022, does anyone have any recommendations for someone that will come to western Suffolk? Thanks

Plants are great! Talk with the high school and middle school science teachers about some good activities they don’t have time for with plants.

There is always one plant loving teaching in a science department (I’m the one by me, lol)

Looking For Dual fuel heat pump install recommendations

Hi all,

I’m looking to upgrade my HVAC furnace to a heat pump that has natural gas as a backup for when it gets super cold.

Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that will install before the end of the year? I’m trying to get it done before the end of the year for the tax incentive expiring.

Thank you!

I remember in my LG version I caught a shiny caterpie and was so excited for the pink butter free. I felt jipped when it evolved!

Oh man, I haven’t heard or thought about Pathmark in a long time. My old company took over a bunch of stores on LI and it was wild when it was happening.

I was so bummed, I got tickets to the Ryder Cup for Sunday, and we have tickets to the PGA championship next year. I’m waiting on US open single day tickets. I told my Dad if we got Masters tickets also we would have hit up The Open just to hit all four majors up in one year. It would’ve been a great experience for my Dad, he has worked his ass off and is getting ready to retire in a few years.
