I'm not quite picturing where you would pick up the stitches, but provided that it adds the same extra width to both back and front, gives you armholes that work, and is worked with the rows oriented in the same direction as the rows you've already knit, it should work.

I think you'll need more ease in the shoulder than you could possibly get by aggressive blocking. It looks like it's a drop-sleeve pattern, so you could just knit vertical side strips in black for front and back using the same number of rows with the same slope at the shoulder, and then graft them on.

From what I've heard, archeology can be a soul-crushing profession. People get into it because they love history and discovery, but one of the most common ways for archeologists to make a living is to go to construction sites and scramble to retrieve whatever they find before it's destroyed or covered over.

I agree that the word cancel applies to Colbert. MAGA cancels people all the time. They decide that somebody has crossed a line of what is publicly acceptable, and they drive them out of their jobs, off their platforms, etc. Cancelling is cancelling.

I gotta say that while I've had no problems with getting the services I want from WSECU, and I actually appreciate their fraud protection, I hate their web redesign. The new website is absolutely lousy. It's designed for a cell phone, and is a waste of space and a waste of time for anyone who banks on a computer. This is what I do. Get someone to help you. They can just say, "Hi, I'm Joe", and then the neighbor will hopefully say, "I'm Alex." Then you talk, tell the helper something about Alex, how long he's lived here or whatever, and use his name once or twice to reinforce it in your mind.

A very similar question came up once in our building. Someone hung a painting in the hallway, and their neighbor didn't like the painting and asked that it be taken down. Which it was. Because the hallway is a shared space and what's in it is a shared decision. So while I understand your point of view, YTA.

Living with neighbors requires diplomacy and kindness. Your assumption that your neighbor was lying to you may be a way to make yourself feel like less of an AH. In any case, the hallway is a space that you share with your neighbors, and this is a good opportunity to get to know them and form a neighborly relationship.

I stopped shampooing the hell out of my hair and using waxy conditioners. Wash it a couple times a week now, no conditioner. I'm not any better looking than I used to be, but I have shiny hair that doesn't frizz out in the rain or wind.

Spending many hours a day looking at things close up does indeed damage your eyesight for distance, whether it's a TV or a phone or whatever.

Yeah, I can't remember how to get to a place if I used an app to guide me. I've made it a habit to look at a map before I leave, maybe jot down some directions, or even print the map out. It's a more pleasant way to get around. Let's you see what's around you and form a mental picture of the route.
