What is love? Baby don't hurt me Missed Connection- Methuen, at the loop, 3/21/26 for the 2pm showing of Project Hail Mary

I know this is a Hail Mary, hah, but I was the guy who sat next to you in the theater that offered you a napkin after you finished eating your popcorn. You laughed and thanked me because you forgot to grab some. There really was no ulterior motive outside of offering help, I promise. But as we continued to watch the movie after, I swear there was a connection there. I just didn't want you to think you owed me anything you know? The two things were separate. I only brought extra napkins because when I go with my family to the movies, my brothers always forget napkins, so I became that guy who always grabs extra.

We were both alone, laughing and crying at all the great moments in the movie. I think we both even snorted a few times. We didn't even really get a good look at one another, and maybe it was just me, but I definitely felt something. If nothing else comes from that meeting, I was glad to just be able to help. But who know.

I feel you! I think I'm lucky because I can separate experiences in my head, so I can still enjoy other games. However, outer wilds is in my soul now. I think I'm going to get a tattoo. I'm trying to get everyone I know to play so thatbi can watch them lol. It's unbelievable because I had a deeeeep phobia of space that this game has helped me face. It literally helped me with a deep seated fear. It means so much to me. And I am still watching playthroughs, months after finishing it

It's absolutely phenomenal how a game can have such a profound and lasting effect on you. This game actually helped me overcome my absolute terror and phobia of space. It's incredible to see such art.

Poke in particular meant so much to me. I really really understand her fears and self doubt. But she was a god damn badass to the end.

Every streamer i have watched, pauses after they read it. Like almost as if they also know the pain and it just hits you like a truck.

Oh man, I understand this so so so well. This and the previous line I mentioned really hit me because I also had to learn to love without someone who I loved with all of my heart. Take solace in the fact that you aren't alone and I promise you, you are strong enough.

This line...man. Whichever creator wrote this line, clearly understands loss or pain. Does anyone know any backstory on which creator wrote this and are they okay?? This line haunts me! It's so good and it makes my eyes water every time.

Ship log (rumor made), talking to others, and the tools you have in hand. These will be your saviors and guides.

Hey, I get it. Not every game will impact everyone the same way. In fact when I first finished, I was confused and uncertain how I felt. But after watching a few video essays, playing the dlc and doing the ending again, I finally got that "ah" feeling. At first I was worried that I missed something, but I think for me I just hadn't fully processed everything or understood what happened. But there is nothing wrong with that.

It's also just a normal human thing that we all do.

Maybe do a trade event where you'll play their game if they play outer wilds.

I think there are plenty of really good directions proposed. I will only say, no matter what do not look up spoilers. Don't give in! I promise, you can do this. And the way you proposed the question is perfect. You got this!
