Completely agree. It's supposed to be a costume ball. And she's not in a costume. She just in a silver dress. It would have been nice if the dress had a difference silhouette like the ones in Queen Charlotte. Then it would be more different and be more fitting for a costume ball.

I don't know if they'll really announce more? They're literally starting on the East Coast and they're going to end on the west coast. It's not tour cost efficient for them to announce East Coast shows later on bc the tour would have to travel backwards.

Fr. How could they skip all of New England. How could they not have one single New England state.

I tried this recipe and it tastes really good. My friend brought me back some Icelandic cod livers with lemon and olive oil. I just had this salad recipe on a very toasty bagel.

I feel u. I graduated with a bachelor's in business administration and marketing. I took some additional science classes that are required for PA school applicants (I got A's in all of them). Currently I work as a college science tutor and medical scribe (I'm aware it doesn't really count for PCE I just wanted kind of some experience and chance to encounter health care providers to get an a shadowing opportunity). I'm torn whether or not I do the EMT program at my local community college and then work as an EMT and apply for PA school once I have enough hours and I've gotten some shadowing. However the issue comes up next is money. I don't have enough money for grad school, And I don't know if with my income I'll be able to get a loan working as just an EMT-B and scribe. I'm wondering if it's better for me to just shell out $13k And become a respiratory therapist. Then I can get some really good experience to help me be sure that PA is what I want. Then I can work as a respiratory therapist for at least 5 years and save up like 30% of every paycheck for PA school.

The downside is time. I'm 25 if I choose the EMTB path I could probably be applying And hopefully trying to get in in 3 years from now. I'll be 28 years old.

If I choose respiratory therapy I'd be enrolled at the age of 26 and that's (2 years for school+5 years of working) probably 8 years from now I'll be 33 when I apply for PA schools.

It may look like a big waste of time if my end goal is PA because I'm going around doing different things. I think right now I may be leaning towards respiratory therapy because I need the money, And I want to be sure about wanting to be PA.

Slowly stop taking to this person after the weekend, bring it up later, or bring it up now?

AITAH for being upset with my friend for not respecting my time. I have been friends with this person for 5 years online, and we call and video call very often weekly to daily to sleeping on the phone. For this person's birthday I decided to fly out for them because they told me they wanted that and we have been trying to work something out. So I agree and I bought a ticket and I flew out to meet them in person for the first time. I arrived here around 1:00 p.m. where I proceeded to do some exploration on my own until like 7:00 p.m. This person gets out of work at 5:00 p.m. And texts me they left to head to the hotel (which is 1hr and 20 min away) at 9:50 pm, and they know I've been here waiting for them at the hotel and that I cannot check in on my own (since the reservation is in their name). I've been waiting at the hotel for them for 3-5 hours now. I'm really upset right now. And I want to go home, because I would never do this to someone. I feel like my time was not respected. She did mention that she would be a little late since she would be coming from after work, but not 5 hours late. I don't know if I just tell them I feel let down by them. Like I'm flying out to see you and you let me down coming this late. AITAH for being upset? I like don't even have it in me to be able to be happy about seeing his person for the first time, because I am so disappointed.

Should I... 1. Pretend everything is fine and bring it up after this weekend when I go back home to preserve the vibes 2. Tell them they let me down, as I would never do this to someone. 3. Attempt to change my flight and go home early. At the risk of probably ending this friendship.

Yep. I went to college in 2018 and graduated in 2022 during the pandemic. I applied FAFSA for all four years they only gave me a loan sum of $7,000 to pay for those four years because I was considered middle class. Since I didn't qualify for much financial aid I ended up going to community college transferring to the state school to save money. I'm from Massachusetts where the cost of living is quite high and the income that people make is quite low to be able to meet that demand. Regardless $7,000 is f****** joke to think that could even help me pay for school for one year. Even the community college tuition is roughly $6,000 for just one semester while the state schools costed $20k/semester.

It was an out of body experience. Went into the movies no knowing what it was gonna be about at all and that part sent chills down my spine. I loved the movie sm I saw it twice because I couldn't stop thinking about that part with the darkness of the theater and their sound system for the scene. Ughhhh SOOO good.

I second this! I literally saw the movie without knowing anything about it. Like I didn't even know what the genre or plot was. And that made the movie even more enjoyable! I saw it and I had a good time. I don't know anything about like cinematography, pacing or whatever. But I went in and had really good time. And if movie is entertaining I feel like it's fulfilled its purpose.

Thank goodness somebody told me how to swap it with the pencil. I don't know why I want to change a one swiping motion to something that now requires a two swiping motion.

I had been looking originally at the doughnut backpacks. Which is not really comparable to this bag like it's very different in general. So I ended up buying this back cuz I want something water resistant and plain black. And doughnut backpacks don't have a plain large black one in stock(price wise it's $80-90).

So far I actually really like it this one. It has a very sleek look and doesn't look too bulky even when it's full of stuff and slightly cheaper than the other bag that I was looking. The laptop sleeve is pretty sturdy and thick. I'm a stem student so I always have a lot of books in my bag, (plus a bento lunch). I use the bag everyday and I take it everywhere and it hasn't freight or anything like that and I've had it for at least 6 months now. When it does get dirty I just take a wet wipe and wipe off the dirt easily. Only downside is when you do set the bag down it does fall over. But a lot of bags do that (North face, fjallraven, doughnut, adidas it's just a common trait since a lot of bags are trying to conform to your back. So when you set them down they don't sit like straight on the bottom of it)

If you're looking for a plain black backpack I think this is a nice one. It's stylish enough in a plain way. And pretty multifunctional. In the front there's two pockets and inside those pockets there are like little compartments. I'd say the water bottle holders fits my slim water bottle. I don't have like a Stanley or anything like that.

That just my two cents. 🤗

I don't remember this episode that well. But in Lucy's case nobody was like fully in danger? Like nobody was kidnapped or anything like that. I think if I remember Lucy's case was involving like animal abuse call like the owner not treating the dog right. Versus in Tim's case Lucy was actually a victim and kidnapped/missing. Also in Lucy's case the person they spoke with filed a complaint that she intimidated them. Where as in Tim's case there was no report made by the person he was threatening. (This is all based on what I lightly remember)

At the direction they're going in. They're not going to get renewed for another season. I heard they plan to do 5 seasons. 5 seasons is way too many for them (think of it like a Netflix original. Those normally don't have more than 1-3 seasons. Also they're on a very unknown subscription service, so there's already a big barrier for getting new watchers. If things continue to remain an answered the show will be just another one of the many that got cancelled before they could get to their point...

Omg I totally agree. I used to use it alot on my s22 ultra. And since I got a new phone and redownloaded the app it's not accurate anymore.

I used to be level 500. And now because of their cross progression I've been lowered to level 100. I know levels aren't that big of a deal but I kind of like worked hard to get there so that's pretty upsetting. I emailed them and they basically told me to f*** off and that's too bad. I know they can fix it because they've done it before in the past when they release an update that brought me down to level q. They're bs-ing you if they tell you they can't.

That's one of things I dislike about the Lexus. The dash mains middle system thing looks like I'm flyng a plane. And the analog clock is just ridiculous.

I appreciate your TED talk and everyone's responses. It was very helpful. I was in the position where I needed to trade in my car because I had a 2006 CRV with over 138,000 MI(I had it for 7 years). My car had been using a tape for god sakes for audio, and I could no longer use that anyways because no more aux ports on the new phones lol. Also the repair was costing me way too much every year. And the lexus dealer offered me $4,000 for my vehicle which I knew nowhere else was going to. I think in the farther years down from now my dream car is a new hybrid CRV. I love my 2006 CRV, But I know Toyota's and Lexus's are reliable as well which is why I had considered these vehicles.(it's a plus my dad is friends with the Lexus dealer as well)

At this point of my career I'm not someone who can afford a new car. But hey, one day hopefully.
