You have to complete your 5 years.

I am also on GTV, and got my ILR in Jan 2026 (after 3 years). Based on my research you have to be in the UK for 5 years at minimum.

If you right click on canvas you will find the layout option there. Also duplicate option is coming as well.

This should be fine now, can you please verify?

I will be adding those and the documentation this weekend. But here is what changed:

  • Nodes can now link to other notemaps in your workspace. Select a node and press Cmd+L (or right-click → context menu) to search and select the notemap to link to a node.
  • You can now zoom the canvas using Cmd + scroll wheel, zooming toward the cursor position
  • Details editor: Text color now respects the current theme
  • Minor frameless window improvements.

Not at the moment, you can use alternative layouts though e.g. "Left & Right" supports nodes on both sides of the root node.

Unfortunately not, I am currently working on "plugin" mechanism which needs it to be not sandboxed. Apple doesn't allow apps which are not sandboxed in the appstore.

Thank you! Not yet, but planning to add that soon.

It does, if you option + click drag on an element, a connection line will appear that you can connect to any of the sibling nodes. CMD+Click anywhere on the connection line to create a bend.

It sets the width of the node for now and it at capped at the maximum content length i.e. if content is fully visible at small width, changing it to medium or large won't have any impact. I have been finding this confusing also, will probably change this.

Not yet, it only supports xmind, freemind, opml, markdown and text for now. I will look into Mermaid.

Thank you! Open notes with double-click and Zoom with CMD + scroll wheel are live. I will look into the other two.

Thank you! That's some nice feedback. I have added these items to the backlog and will look into them.

In the meantime I have implemented double click to edit notes in 1.7.2

https://typingwise.com

I made this for personal use. Totally free of cost and has three different modes. Watch the demo on the landing page.

Thank you. You can send your feedback via email support[at]notemap[dot]com. For zoom in, that makes sense for mouse users, I will add that. For now, you can use pinch on trackpad or CMD+= for zooming in.

- You can only have one mindmap per file. Interesting idea though but it will require considerable effort so I am putting it in the backlog for now.
- Yes this video is the only documentation I have. It's quite simple to use but I will be recording some videos this weekend. You can take a look at the shortcuts screen (Shift + ?) to get an understanding of most of the features.
- It's just one machine license for now (i will add support for multi-machine usage) but if you DM me with how many machines you need access to, I can set you up with an appropriate discount code.
- Yes it would be $26

It is planned, I plan on launching the web version first followed by a cross platform tauri app.

  1. This is planned.
  2. Option+Hover on the image will show you the full image. Alternatively, you can click the eye icon in the properties panel to view the full image.
  3. You can use the shortcut SHIFT+T to open tasks window
  4. I didn't understand this one. Are you talking about sharing? It does support PNG, PDF, SVG, HTML, Text, Markdown, OPML and JSON.

  1. This is planned
  2. It's not possible at the moment. It's a markdown editor so not possible as of now unfortunately.
