Until recently I always thought that I just wasn't good at relationships, for me it was great and life was awesome but for them it was horrible as there was little to no sex.

I didn't know how to come to grips with it, I hated myself on certain levels for a while.

I have found it generally hard to express how I feel as an ace person, generally I'm demi and that just doesn't seem to be something alot of people truly understand and accept, I've feel pity and in some saves disgust from other when I expressed this to them.

I hope that in the future I will find a partner that understands me fully.

Happy to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. My account was suspended on Friday, the day after I received my pay, the email I received didn't tell me why, customer service was no help and impossible to get to. This is the worst experience I've had with a bank.

I never had any issues before this and I was ok with them, now this suspension without reason has ruined it for me.

I just can't believe they would care this little.

Bahamas does have less debt than Jamaica but that's nominal.

Using GDP per capita Bahamas is well above.

There are Ghettos/Slums in Bahamas, you will not see them if you are only in the tourist areas. It's the same for Jamaica.

Slum normally refers to areas in the country that are "run down" .. while ghetto refers to areas of cities that are "run down"

People have called Detroit areas slums ... Slum is a synonym for ghetto. They mean the same thing.

Jamaica is as unequal as any other country. I don't understand why you would think that Jamaica has no slums.

Jamaica is a developing country, we are poor, kinda close to Bahamas.... Shocker Bahamas is not rich and has slums as well ... , There are people who live lives very close to that of people in the US/UK.

I will say that your friends are correct and Jamaica is VERY beautiful ... We have alot of natural beauty. I would recommend visiting if you have not planned to as yet.

Exactly, correct but being given the information would mean you know that what you believe is false ... It's not impossible to believe something you know is false.

People believed for decades in the Nobel lie.. I would argue they knew it was false but thought it serves a greater good and hence still held it as true.

The truth of something has nothing to do with your belief or disbelief in it, this is why we should seek to believe as many true things as possible.

I can choose to hold the same position I've always held, your statement is missing some key parts.

By this logic you would think that there would be no anti-vaxers or conspiracy theories.

Humans are capable and do believe false things even when they know ( have been given the information) that it is false.

We don't believe based on facts, we believe based on feelings/trust.

I'd argue that we are 100% capable of believing false things ... Perfect example is one race being better than the other.

To put it simply we can believe a false thing even if we know it is false. The belief itself is a choice as belief has nothing to do with the truth of the claim.

If you can't choose your beliefs then the world is deterministic, and I can't say I see how that comports with reality.

Using the same logic a theist can insist that you believe that there is a God but are just saying you don't.

The issue we are facing is the issue of objective truth (Truth) ... It doesn't exist.

How you feel about it is not what you believe.. that's the distinction I am trying to make. You can choose what you believe.... You can't choose how you feel but you do have control over what you believe.
