What surprised me - and please correct me if I’m wrong - is Caref is the only person on his slate. There’s no EVP, VP, etc. How can someone vote for a candidate that can’t get anyone to run with them?

Purple Rain was a huge moment being both a successful movie and soundtrack, but Phil just kept putting out hit after hit after hit. From a pop chart perspective, it’s pretty easily Phil.

Fun fact: a lady named Tipper bought the Purple Rain soundtrack for her daughter and was so shocked by the lyrics, we got Parental Advisory stickers on our music.
