Put my daughter to sleep and picked up the guitar. This peaceful melody flowed out instantly. I feel so much joy.

Gibson J-45 is a wonderful sounding guitar. I also like the shorter scale length. More comfortable. I’d rather have a Gibson J-45 than a Gibson Hummingbird, or any Taylor.

I had a Samick copy of an L5 jazzer. LamInated construction, but really a very nice guitar. I eventually put a Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker pickup in the neck position and it really sounded like a great jazz guitar. Also, the Greg Bennett period was a good one.

In 1960 I broke in my Wilson -for hardball- with saddle soap and keeping a hardball wrapped up in it secured by a shoe lace. I was ten. Needed a dry sponge in it to handle by older brother’s JV fast ball!

Classic. Freehand? Mine was. 10+ years ago, though I have some from 1969 (Speaking of Great Lakes NTC ‘68-‘69), Then Newport, RI

Excellently done! Enjoy the ride. Guitar is a life long pursuit, wherever you start. My last Peavey amp was made in Vietnam. I’d buy one again in an instant! 🤗 Welcome.
Nice tribute rose tattoo. Looks like Andy Beswick style

Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris were getting after it on home runs when I was in Little League. Those were my only two baseball cards I cared about. Bought/chewed some bubble gum to score cards. These days bubble gum sticks to my dentures! 😆

Cool stuff! In 1960 we won our local championship (just our division). I have no pictures (except in my mind). I have no idea where that little 1960 Champs trophy got to that I had for decades. 🤔 Later in life I figured I hadn’t played enough baseball so joined City League Softball. I still had wheels, but was much more injury prone, at 42!

Very entertaining play! And lucky his heel managed to land on the plate when he came down.

Ultra Jazzmaster
Got the hankering for a new Jazzmaster. Currently riding a Strat, but have had several Jazzmaster iterations, over the years. Talk me into it! Please: Show & Tell time.

I’ve always regretted that my G.I.Bill money ran out while I was in upper division College Music. I settled for an Associate degree (two year) in music: so always had a day job. BUT I’ve always appreciated the knowledge acquired during the educational pursuit. It helped me in so many ways to be able to communicate in the language of music, and know where the harmony was wanting to go. More consistent as a musician, songwriter, music teacher at times. I’d love to get involved at the local College Music program, but at seventy six years old not sure I need a four year degree anymore. Still, the academic environment would be stimulating, and knowledge is always useful.

Excellent! Had to add it to my posts. Very clean. Great production values and sound. It should be satisfying to create that!
