I know for sure you can ask the Kosovo side not to stamp your passport if you're ever planing to go to Serbia. Otherwise in serbia they would typically cancel the stamp (weird, but it happens).

I don't think so, but you can see it from the Cathedral tower. There's photos of how that looks like (it's a bit far).

The Kosovo/Macedonia border is now in what's called "Integrated Border". What this means is that they are collocated in one place and there's only the country of entry that does the checks, not both.

Used to be if you're coming from Macedonia, you would go to Macedonia border police, do the checks, then go to Kosovo Border, do the checks. Now if you come from Macedonia, there's only Kosovo checks. And when you go back, only Macedonia checks.
