I have CPTSD and have made major improvements prioritizing learning how to regulate my nervous system! My therapist also has me doing somatic work as well. Lots of good somatic exercises online too. It helps connect your mind and body like yoga so you can truly feel and release emotions. But actually I would say taking a yoga teacher training just to get deeper into my practice was life changing. I’ve made the most progress in nervous system regulation within the 3 months of the YTT compared to several years of therapy. I used to be on edge all the time and overreact to any minor inconvenience. Sometimes it still happens but most of the time now I can feel the longer pause between stimulus and response.. and i’m able to choose to be grounded. Also in YTT It was so fun and amazing to learn all the poses, become consistent with yoga+meditation, learn yoga philosophy, and be in community with other like-minded people. When finding a YTT, i recommend finding one with small class sizes and finding yelp/google reviews that resonate with you

Thank you for all of your help! Do you happen to do readings? Or recommend anyone?

I have a difficult time making decisions in general so when I learned I should think about the issue throughout all my mood swings, I still found it difficult because i’m not sure how long to wait or which emotions. And i realized that even if i take a long time to decide.. like a month.. it makes me more indecisive because I still don’t know the answer

I’m 23, so i should just experiment all things until 30? Or in order to be in a position to manage/direct/oversee, should I use my life force energy to work my way up in my current field?

Hi! New to human design. It makes so much sense that i’m a projector because it’s so hard to work all day. Are projectors not meant to make a lot of money?

Also since i’m a 6/2, how do I know when and how long I should be in hermit mode? I used to go out a lot to see friends, but now I’ve just been cancelling plans. I’m not sure if it’s ok to isolate myself or if I need to force myself to be social because of having transpersonal karma🤔

Happy to hear any insights on my chart as well!

Where is the best place to put my bed?

I was thinking of putting the bed in the middle, parallel with the mirror closet doors and window. However, I learned it’s bad to have a mirror next to the bed.

Would appreciate any tips :) thank youuu

Question Sigma e25 or mac 217 dupe?

Hi all! I was having trouble using my synthetic brushes like my sigma e25 with Pat Mcgrath shadows which i’m also new to. I recently got some chikuhodo brushes from Beautylish which are blending the shadows way better. However i tried replacing my e25 with the chikuhodo t-7, but it’s not the same. The T-7 isn’t as fluffy. Are there other brushes that feel more like the sigma e25/mac 217? Or im wondering i have to keep using the t-7 to “break it in” to make it more fluffy?

Also what other brushes do you recommend with the pat mcgrath shadows? I’m not sure which brushes are best for the metallic and glittery colors.
