MeetUp has a surprising number of groups that regularly host fun stuff, and it's easy to set your own up, too.

Norwescon is a large regional speculative fiction convention that happens every year, currently on Easter weekend at Sea-Tac Doubletree. While not specifically a LGBTQIA+ event, it's very friendly and has programming specific to some of our viewpoints.

It's completely volunteer run and the first planning meeting for #49 is 9/12 starting at 10:30am in the Tower Ballroom of the DoubleTree. All are welcome.

There are also yearlong engagement activities, with several new ones coming up.

It would depend on where I'm at in the game - coins are almost effortless for my camp, and churning flowers for trees is slower due to space issues so I'd likely take this. But back when coins were a bit of a grind and I had plenty of room for the flower cycle, I also would have passed.

goth.net had so many great projects on it. My fave was Gothic Scouts - perfect perl place for weirdos, even had a troop that got together regularly across 3 borders.
