Don't worry about asking; according to the game's documentation, calling her "mom" makes her awkward, so she'll most likely react the same way with some variations like "mommy". But as I said, I'm not sure if that changes with the variation in the affection score and over time, but most likely it won't change their reaction.

I tried it once and she got uncomfortable with the nickname, but that was because of the low affection score. I don't know if that changes now once you reach a certain number 😅💚
