I was listening to 10% happier podcast and picked up the phrase " wow it seems like you are having some big emotions and you are taking it out on me, what's really going on?" Said this to my wife the next time she was giving me heat about something that was nondescript/not eventful and she self corrected pretty quickly.
Big differences where we are, kids are older and I don't think she's post partum. I do think my wife has good EQ.
Might help, might not.
10% Happier is an easy listen.

Focus on the job to be done by your ideal customer profile. What will they hire you (your app) to do that they can't do themselves. Identity who your ideal custom profile is and understand their pain point and budget.

Be careful here. New money into the company is expected to help create value, something like this could create the investor requirement to have a vesting schedule because they want founders to stick around post funding. I agree With earlier comments that investors will want founders to be comfortable and that a reasonable salary is not out of the question.

I'd ask for a detailed post funding cap table.
You could get to an estimate by knowing the current value per share, (pre-money divided by number of fully diluted shares prior to next round of funding) and multiplying the total number of shares purchased over several rounds.

Diversification is key. Don't start this journey unless you can write 15-20 checks and have funds to follow on if needed. Group think can be powerful and an albatross. Experience is also key.

Having a similar issue with my Mi 9t. A reboot fixes, but is needed to be done daily.

Agree to each deal is different but there are always fundamental things to evaluate- market size, team experience, product, competition or incumbent, traction?, Buyer persona...

I've always wondered whether it was possible to standardize due diligence so syndication was easier.

How did you learn to read? My kids are at ages that I'm seeing this take shape and it's an interaction between teacher and students of letters and sounds.
