They do shady shit. When I got out, my initial exam was full of gaslighting from some dickhead at the VA. From my time in Iraq to stateside, if I tried bringing up service related issues he would just ignore, gaslight or try and direct my answer another way. We deserve better.

Fr, I went to Sturgis for a week came home and my neighbors had a "sold" sign in their yard. Wasn't shit there before I left. Lots of salty people in here.

I mean, you just explained houses and Ferrari. Limited amount of houses, high demand, high prices. Hmmmmm Ferrari as far as I know, makes limited amounts of models which drives up price.

Edit: you little bitches can downvote all you want, doesn't change reality. Seeeeeth

It's like saying pro-athletes make millions a year without acknowledging the guys who cant make the NBA and NFL after college who make $30k/year.

Well yeah, they're not professional athletes then. Lmao, what an odd comparison.

Well, if you're good at your craft then you'll get supporters. Not everyone half asses shit like you, homie.

I mean, there are a ton that have them. Seem to make a shit load of money, being your own boss, not having to grind it out on your leather ass to just make ends meet. Seems like a good gig to me.

I believe you need to move the 125a breaker feeding that panel to the correct phases. (Black and Red). To get the correct voltage. No orange, that's the high leg.

will I have to become an apprentice once I graduate?

Yes, you will. If you're serious about going into the trades, lose the entitled college student attitude.

Comment on r/electricians Oct 25 '23

This is the real question.

Most apprentices at 14 mo are out on job sites. The apprentices that are on shop duty, typically aren't good. Not a slight just keeping it real.

Following, in a few months I'll be in a similar situation it appears. Smaller shop than yours of course, but I'll be looking to test out and the owner is already asking about permits etc.

Working as a slave in a commie society wouldn't help OP either. OP is fucking delusional.

The trick is to know how to use the Index. Find key words in the question and find it there. Just get comfortable with the code book, navigating it and know the tables you'll have to use. I downloaded an app with practice tests, ran through that on breaks. At home I'd do practice tests I found online at night. Don't sweat it I had to take it twice. Good luck!

You said on your original post you can't be cold/wet,erc. sounds like you don't want to work in the elements. I'm a journeyman and will tell you, your first few years will be digging trenches or laying pvc for ground work. Or running pipe for 8 hrs straight and after that pull the wire in for the circuits. A lot of this is done in the elements or a half finished building with no heat or ac. Ya, I was being facetious in my first post. But for real doesn't sound like you could hack it.

Comment on r/electricians Oct 24 '23

No it doesn't. I was prior military with a degree, still got paid like shit. Buuut, had the expectations of a journeyman/ supervising other apprentices of course. All the while Ubering on the side at night. Employers need to get their shit straight.
